GEORGE’S POINT OF VIEW

I stood in the middle of Weasleys’ Wizarding Wheezes, watching Hogwarts’ students walking in and out of the store, buying Pygmy Puffs, goggling over the Skiving Snackboxes and felt decidedly uncomfortable without the constant presence of Fred, my late twin. Nothing seemed right, even after two years, without my other half.

A tinkle from the door brought me back down to Earth. My eyes blinked open in surprise. Standing in the doorway was Lee Jordan, not only my best friend, but my sole friend after Fred died.

With him, though, were Katie Bell and Angelina Johnson, former Chasers on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team. All three were beaming as they sauntered over to the counter, where I was sitting glumly.

‘Hey, George! What’s up, bro?’ Lee greeted me.

‘Uh..nothing much.’ I replied unhappily.

‘Is this STILL about Fred? Get over it already.’ Angelina put in. That girl has the emotional space of a fly, literally. We should start selling products to give people emotions, although that might not sell that well, since the only person that NEEDS them is Angelina. Stupid git.

‘Shut up! This is about my job, not who is more miserable about Fred!!!’ Katie glared at Angelina.

Job? What job? I obviously missed out on something. And that breaks Fred and George’s Rule Number One: Never Miss Out on Gossip.
