Knockout x Cyclone

Chapter 17: Her First Birthday! (Knockout's pov) (part 2)

As we exited the ground bridge, I placed all of Toni's new toys down. They were so heavy! Toni was asleep in Cyclone's arms and I smiled softly. She hasn't really been able to sleep calmly lately. Cyclone walked away with Toni to go put her to bed for a little while. I sighed and picked the stuff up again and followed quietly. Once I got into the room, Cyclone was tucking Toni in. I set the stuff down gently and Cyclone looked over to me. We both walked out and she closed the door softly, trying not to wake Toni up.

"Alright, we'll give her two hours, then we gotta wake her up" she whispered softly.

"Agreed" I whispered back.

We walked away from her room and before I could leave the hallway, I heard her soft whimpering. She was having a bad dream already? We just put her down. I walked back to her room and there Toni was, tossing and turning and making whimpering sounds. I felt my spark break. She was such an innocent femme! She hasn't gone through what we have so, I don't understand what her nightmares could be about. I took a step into the room an her optics opened and she looked over to me.

"Dada..." She muttered.

She reached out to me and I walked over to her bed. I picked her up and sat on her bed with her in my arms. I rocked back and forth with her and she yawned softly.

"Do you wanna tell daddy what's going on?" I asked her softly.

"I been having nightmares dada" she yawned softly.

"About what?" I asked, looking at her.

"About you and mama..." She whimpered.

"Do you want me to stay with you while you nap?" I asked.

"Please dada" she pleaded.

I nodded and kissed her helm softly. She fell asleep in my arms and I laid down with her. I then felt myself drift off into a nice slumber. I held Toni close to keep her calm while she slept. What felt like forever, my optics opened slightly to see Cyclone standing there. She had a smile on her face. I sat up slightly and looked down to see that Toni was cuddling into my chassis. I smiled and looked at Cyclone. She nodded and shook Toni's shoulder.

"Wake up sweetie...you have more presents to open" Cyclone said softly.

Toni opened her optics and looked up at her mother with a smile. She reached out and Cyclone picked her up. I climbed off her bed and Toni smiled.

"I wuv you daddy" she smiled.

"I love you too" I said, kissing her helm again.

She giggled and we went out to the main meeting area of the Nemesis, where everyone else was. Toni giggled and grabbed something and chased Starscream around. The sad thing is, he ran away from her, screaming. Again. I chuckled as I watched him hide behind Shockwave. Megatron set his gift in front of Toni and she instantly stopped running. She looked at me and I nodded. She smiled and opened the gift to reveal a guitar.

"What's this?" She asked.

"A guitar! You can play music on that!" Cyclone smiled.

Toni smiled and strummed the guitar. I smiled as well and got on my knees next to her.

"Do you see daddy?" Toni asked excitedly.

I chuckled and nodded with a smile plastered on my face.

"Yes, I see" I said.

Toni set the guitar down and opened the rest of her gifts. She got a bow and arrow from Shockwave, a blaster from Steve, and some you medical tools from me. Me and Cyclone took the blaster and the bow and arrow since she was too young for those. She was able to play with the fake tools though. She was having the time of her life. She was 'fixing' up Steve and she was giving Megatron a check-up. Later that day, it was starting to become night time. I took Toni outside and she was able to look at the stars. Her facial expression was full of wonder and excitement. She pointed at the stars and I told her everything I knew about them. Which wasn't a lot. She started yawning and I took her to bed. I read her a bedtime story and she had her bear and blanket close. Hopefully, those two things will help her sleep. She fell asleep and I kissed her helm.

"Goodnight Toni..." I whispered as I closed her door.

I sighed on the other side of it and walked away. I was stopped by Starscream as I was heading back to my berthroom.

"What?" I asked.

"Did she get my gift?" He asked.

"What gift?" I asked.

"The nightmares" he replied.

I growled and pinned him against the wall. My servo turned into my saw and I aimed it at his neck.

"What in the name of Primus is wrong with you!?" I asked angrily.

Starscream smirked and put his servos up defensively.

"The child needs to learn" he said.

My saw started moving and I scraped his cheek. I was pissed. He was making my only sparkling scared and upset. He wasn't going to get away with it. Not while my spark was still going. Megatron pulled me off of him and I walked away before I could do anymore damage. I got back to the berthroom I shared with Cyclone and explained to her what Starscream told me.

"Did you do anything to him?" She asked angrily.

"Scraped his face with my saw, energon is leaking out of his face now" I said.

"Good" Cyclone growled slightly.

I laid down on the berth next to her and we ended up cuddling. She sighed softly and placed her helm on my chassis.

"Other than that, I'd say this day went pretty well" she muttered.

"Yeah, I agree with you" I nodded.

We then cuddled a bit more and fell asleep in each other's arms. I swear, if Starscream ever tries to pull this scrap again, he won't be alive for long...

(This is why we don't mess with Knockout. Okay so, I'm supposed to be in school right now but, I got sick. Ugh...kill me...anyway, I'll probably be updating a lot so, yeah. Anywho, hope you have a good day! Bye!)
