My Slytherin Boys

Chapter 6

Vanessa Nott.

Of course, I'm just that lucky.

"Oh, Willow, it is you," she laughs lightly. "I was scared it was someone else and that would have been awkward." She smiles taking a step closer to me and standing right next to me like we were best friends. She looks over at the boys as if she had just noticed them, "Oh! Hello," she smiles widely and I try to look happy, but Albus must have seen through my forced smile as he has to cough very hard suddenly. Scorp looks at Al and then at me and he visibly bits the inside of his cheek.

"Hello, Vanessa," Scorpius says after he had composed himself. Albus echoes him and grins at me.

I sigh.

Vanessa smiles, "You know Willow?" She asks and doesn't wait for an answer, "Willow and I are roommates!" She laughs like she made a joke and I try to smile again.

Albus has to cough again and Scorpius bites the inside of his cheek again and blinks once then says, in a very concerned tone, "Willow, are you okay?" but there was amusement dancing in his eyes, he places a hand on my shoulder and Vanessa raises an eyebrow at him. I sigh again.

"Quite well, thanks," I say and Albus smiles slightly.

Scorpius grins, "good." He nods, "wouldn't want to have you not okay."

I nod, "yeah, but we should probably be heading back..."

Vanessa steps in, "oh! That's why I was so happy to see you! I sorta lost my way and I don't know where the common room is." She giggles and shrugs. "Would you guys help?" She had sort of positioned her self as if she wasn't addressing me anymore, she was facing Al and Scorp, smiling for all she was worth. It was quite annoying really.

"Sure," Albus nods, "Like Willow said, we've gotta head back there anyway."

Scorp nods, "yeah, Vanessa, we can help."

Vanessa turns to look at Scorp, which involved stepping infront of me, I huffed and Al chuckled lightly. "Why are you calling me Vanessa, like we haven't even met before, Scorpius?" She asks giggling lightly, she looked almost *to* pretty, "We've known each other for a long time."

Scorp shrugs then looks back at me, which was pretty difficult, so props to him, "Willow, would you lead the way?" He says, it was almost a plea to help him out of the awkward situation, I smirk slightly and he tried to glare at me without making it obvious to Vanessa.

"Why, of course, Scorpius," I say, drawling his name out and twirl a piece of hair around my finger, then quickly stop when Vanessa turns around to look at me, since Albus was having a coughing fit in the corner. (He had had to double over and hide behind a shelf. I should have offered him a drink of water, but I fear it would have just made it worse).

Scorp rolls his eyes at me when Vanessa turns around and I grin at him. Vanessa just looks confused.

Albus straightens up and walks over to the group again, "well then, lead the way." He says and Scorp and him share a small smile as I nod.

I turn on my heel, and we start out of the library, walking down the corridors, towards the dungeons. Scorpius had quickly claimed the walking space beside me, leaving Al to walk by Vanessa, who just kept talking and talking about her family and Scorpius' family and everything under the sun that they had done together and what their families would do. I had almost started talking about my family, but I don't think that Scorpius would have been to happy to be walking by me if he knew.

When we had found the common room, which had to be the easiest thin to find in the whole school. I'm pretty sure everyone knew Vanessa was lying, but the walk to the dungeons was just the solid evidence thy we needed.

"Blue Bogglewarts," Vanessa calls, and the walls open up to the green tinted common room. Vanessa glides in, swishing her hair over her shoulder and taking my hand as she passed me. "Thanks, boys!" She says, flashing them both a wide smile. I wave slightly, stumbling to follow her. Albus waves almost in a slight dream and Scorp rubs his head slightly, then calls, "Bye, Willow, Vanessa."

Vanessa hauls me up the stairs and into our room, where the other girls were sitting around, doing their hair and giggling about some posters of boys that Rosá had brought along.

Vanessa let's go of my arm, after closing the door behind us and turns on me as I rub where she had grabbed me.

"Why didn't you tell us you were going out with Scorpius and Potter?" She asks accusingly and all the girls stop what they're doing at Scorpius' name, they all scramble up and come to stand around Vanessa and me. "You totally heard what we had said about them! You know that I've known Scorpius for years! And you didn't tell us that you were going to go meet with him?"

"Albus was there too!" I say, "and why's it a problem? I can't have friends?"

"You need to tell me next time!" Vanessa says and the other girls nod.

I shake my head, "No, I don't, just because you've known Scorp for a while doesn't mean you are the only girl he's allowed to talk to from our year."

Vanessa gasps, "what did you call him?" She asks, and doesn't wait for an answer, "only his family call him Scorp."

"He told me I could," I shrug then sigh, "Vanessa, I don't want to fight with you-"

"We aren't fighting!" She says defiantly.

"Okay, whatever, but I can have friends, and so can you, deal?" I ask, I was annoyed with her, and it was bordering on dislike, but my brothers told me to make friends, not enemies during your first weeks, and I did not need an enemy who would be sleeping two beds down from me.

Vanessa purses her lips and shakes my hand, then adds, "and you can't hog him."

"Them," Rosá calls and Vanessa rolls her eyes slightly, but I nod.

"I'll try, but it's up to them," I shrug. I felt bad making deals over the boys, but it was late an I just wanted to sleep. "Deal." I say and Vanessa echoes me. We shake once and then Vanessa turns, walking to her bed, I follow her lead, walking to my trunk and pulling out my pajamas.

It was going to be a long first few weeks.
