it was supposed to be a regular day for jungkook. wake up. eat. head to school. meet his girlfriend and do his daily routine of ignoring taehyung.
but, today was different.
it was lunch and jungkook had seen no sign of taehyung. which was weird. he always seen him at his usual table by himself with his triangle kimbap and strawberry milk.
it wasn't until the announcement at exactly 12:54pm that he had heard the news.
" students. i'd like to ask you all to please stop what you are doing and listen up."
jungkooks peers all stopped with confusion and started looking around with questionable expressions.
"this morning, one of our top students had taken their life. kim taehyung threw himself from the top of the hospital, leaving his family and peers behind. i would like a minute of silence in memoriam of taehyung and you will all be dismissed to go home for the rest of the day ..."
jungkook froze in his seat, speechless.
had taehyung really kill himself?
it didn't seem true. but he had all the reason too and jungkook remembered the last thing that taehyung had emailed him.

jungkook went home that day with a broken heart. for this whole time,
he still loved kim taehyung.
