Chapter 10; Armour

I walked down the hall since I had to go to the courtyard. To be honest I really didn't  want to. Snow was coming, and it was getting colder and colder. Not to mention it was also getting a lot gloomier because of....events.

It's really sad, though. How that girl- I mean Becca is killing everyone.

I stopped in the hall and stared at a big picture.

'The great war of dark and light' it read.

'I wonder if it would happen again? Due to certain events.' I wondered, 'It's funny, I really never got to think by myself like this. It's been going  real fast around here.'

I sighed, 'I better get going,'

I continued down the hall till I reached the courtyard. No one was there but I faintly heard someone call my name. I turned around and saw Charlotte.

She dashed up to me and said, "I love your armour! Do you like mine?"

"Yeah! It's really cool!" I smiled.

Charlotte chose a battle axe made with magma ore. Magma ore is a type of ore that can set things on fire or leave burns when it hits something. It can also melt things, so mining it is hard to do. The axe head is made out of that Magma ore the handle part is made out of obsidian, so the weapon looks nice with the red and the blackish - purplish colour, but lets face it, every colour goes well with black.

Charlotte's armour was a giant chest piece that was red with black pieces here and there of the piece. Then for the bottom, she has leggings that are armour that is black, with red pieces here and there and the shoes are connected to the pants. Then she also has a belt for different things, and er axe actually folds away so she just has to clip it to her belt.

"Isn't your armour heavy? Like really heavy?" I asked Charlotte.

"Nah. I mean just a bit, but I'll get used to it," Charlotte smiled.

We started to talk a bit while we waited for Lavender and Marie to come. The place did start to get crowded as people came. It also started to get noisier, but that's fine.

After some time, Maire and Lavender came.

"Hey, guys!"Lavender waved.

Lavender's armour was brown leather. It is a leather dress with silver mesh underneath, but the mesh seems to be tightly packed together. The mesh also goes up to her wrist and it also goes up her neck like a turtleneck. Then for legs, they also have mesh but only going about 3-4 inches down her leg since the leather dress goes about 2-3 inches down her leg. For her footwear, she has these  big brown leather boots that go up her knees about 2-3 inches and on them it has her weapons.

Lavenders weapon is 2 crossbows. They attach to her boots and somehow re-load there too.

"HEY GUYS!!!"Marie shouted, "ISN'T ARE AMOUR AWESOME????"

Marie's armour was a white halter top that had long sleeves with dark blue edges with an iron mesh between the chest piece to the leg piece which is a skirt fanned out with the edge being dark blue. Her footwear where boots that are white with the edge on the top ending pointing up towards the sky.

Marie's weapon was 2 blades, attached to ribbons that she could throw and they can come back. The blade was made up of a fused metal of silver, steel, and aquamarine.

"Yeah, it's cool." Charlotte smiled, "Yours too Lavender."

"THANK YOU!!!" Marie beamed.

"Thank you" Lavender smiled.

"Why don't we go a take a seat and wait for him to come," I smiled.

"Sure" Charlotte replied.

After some time of waiting, Jet and Alistar came in.

"Okay girls, in about a week, you'll have your simulation." Jet spoke.

The room filled with whispers and murmurs, probably about what he means about simulation.

"A simulation? What does he mean?" I whispered to Charlotte.

"I don't know exactly," Charlotte whispered back.

"Ahem," Alistar cleared his throat, "Let him explain before ye all start rumors."

"Thank you, Alistar...Again. Okay so ahem, everyone listen because I am not, explaining this again." Jet began.

"Okay, the simulation is a machine that puts you into a simulation of a galaxy far far away or a different world. Now you can pack for this but it's limited to only; some food, a bottle of water and some medicines like bandages, and that's about it. The world is a pre set world where we can see what's going on, so if anything bad will happen, we can just take you out of the simulation."

"The simulation will be in about a week, so you guys can train and get ready for when that comes. Oh and one thing is that there is no list of who is going first. Well just pick who goes first and who goes next.  Alright?"

The crowd filled with mummers as everyone went to talk with their friends.

I leaned in to Charlotte, "What do you'll do to train?" I asked.

"I think I'll go to the training room... I don't know yet.." Charlotte responded.

"Yeah but won't that be full of people?" Lavender chimed in.

"Yeah, won't it? I mean there is a lot of people here!"Marie smiled.

"I guess you're right..." Charlotte sighed, "Now where do we train?"

"Well, we could train out here!" I suggested.

"Wait!" I have and idea!"Lavender beamed, "Just meet me here tomorrow after class!"
