Chapter #9

I wore a simple jeans and top,and straightened my hair nicely...didn't know what manik was upto but was sure something was definitely up in his mind after all he's the manik malhotra

I went to dadus room to check on him and he was already sleeping

I went upto him,covered him properly ,switching the heaters off went out to fetch water ,and there I saw mukty

"Mukty" I took her name softly

She looked at me and then I continued

"Can I get your two mins plz ,"I asked

"Oh come on shut up okay...tumse baat kia shakal bhi nhi dekhna chahty mein "
She said and was about to go but I stopped her

"Please aik bar" I pleaded

I guess ...She looked at my teary eyes and stopped

"Hmm" she retorted

I was surprised, like she said yes

"Actually ,mukty ..I .. I..am..so.sooryy." I said gathering some courage

She looked at me as if has seen a stranger

"What" she spit out the drink at once

"Sorry ,sorry ,sorry...per please repeat kerna what did you say .?and why did you say so??"she asked in confused way

"Listen ..mein janty hu k mene bohat Bura kia tum logo k sath as in my behaviour and all...but it was ..it was due to a misunderstanding,and misguidance"I explained and tears welled up in my eyes

I saw her face,her features got relaxed and she looked at me calmly

"Tum batao mukty agar tumhary MOM ne tumhei wo sab kaha hota tou kia tum unki baat ko na manty??would u have ignored that,??trust na kerty?"I exclaimed sobbingly and closed my eyes

And their I felt something on my shoulder,I opened my eyes and saw it was her hands on my shoulders

I looked at her and she was too in tears

"I'm sorry nandini" she retorted

"Sorry for my behaviour too...you know you are right actually was right...its not at all your fault... Mujhei samajh na chaheah tha"she too said in the same sobbing tone

I shook my head in a no and then she at once pulled me in a hug,a warm sisterly hug it was

Pulling apart she wiped my tears and I did the same

"No more fightings paka" she said holding her skin on apples Adam

"Paka" I did the same and we started laughing in between the sobs

"Chalo let's have coffe together" she said

After making it we went to the balcony, it was really cold but it felt awesom ,positivity was there all around,

"Huh...finally manik or mukty se friendship hogai..thankyou so much ayiappa"I prayed silently with a smile

"Kia sochri ho"she asked me

"Hmm... nothing .."I replied

"I'm glad u realised soon...so now what's the plan shadi ko continue kerna heina.."she threw the biggest question

How shall I tell her that yes I wanna continue the relationship ,manik is the one and only man whom I'll think about always

"Nandini you can share anything agar koi problem ho" she smiled placing her hand on mine

We kept talking till she got a call from her friend cabir,she excused herself and took a leave

It was 8 in the evening ,I heard the horn of maniks car and my heartbeat doubled infact tripled

"What is he gonna do tonight" I murmured

I looked around and grabbed a magazine and started reading

After 3 minutes I heard the knob turning and then he entered,I looked up and our eyes met

He was looking with soft expressions, and it was igniting the desires,don't know what he was upto but I was surely thinking something that I should not

"umm..Hey..!!"he uttered

And the chain of thoughts broke,

"Hii" I said and at once got up

"Btww ye ulta kabse read kerty ho??" His question confused me

"What" I expressed

"Matlab my WIFE is a multi talented lady ..wow" he said with a smirk and stressing the word wife it actually give me jitters when ever he calls me wife

I looked at the magazine and then realised my mistake,he chuckled and then came close to me

"Nandini tum kahi ja rhi ho kia??" He asked and this confused me again

"kia??ma..manik..u only said to b...be..re.. read...dy"I managed to say

He asked as if reminding and at once said
"Ohhh thaattt..."he said and at once started laughing like a Maniac

I wanted for him to stop as I wasn't finding it funny at all

"Nan..hahha nandini ..seriously... Hahahah" he said between his laughter

"Manik shut up... Stop plz ...or bolo pagalo ki terha kiun hasei jarei ho"I spoke seriously

"Okay okay ..see...mene kaha tha we will make some good memories and be ready !! Hena??yahi kaha tha na" he retorted

"Yee..ah"i replied

"Arrei mene tou kaha tha we will play Xbox together and sochoo ...kitny achi memory hogy na when afterwards we will remember"he said and I was shocked for a moment

What was i thinking and what had he planned like seriously Xbox Matlab x...xbox

I took a deep breath and replied

"Manik mujhei nhi koi Xbox khelni" I said and was about to leave but he held my hand and pulled with a jerk

He placed the errant strand from my face behind my ears


"Mrs malhotra, Jo mein kehta hu wo kerk he chorta hu"he said gliding his fingers on my face from forehead to chin then he nent down,our lips were just inches apart

"So what's the plan "I murmured
