Taehyung packed a few last articles of clothing into his bag and answered the call from the younger.

"Hey there." Taehyung smiled, the grin on his boyfriend's face causing happiness to course through his veins.

"You're going to be here in a few hours holy shit I'm actually dying." Jungkook exclaimed, Taehyung laughing and walking downstairs to see if his mom was almost ready.

It had been a few months since the call that changed it all between Taehyung's mom and Jungkook's parents. The two had been talking nonstop, their parents even forming a bond at this point.

When he and Jungkook first met, he'd never imagined that they'd get this far.

"Try to be alive when I get there okay?" He chuckled, his mom looking up from where she was pinning back a few strands of her hair.

"Is that Jungkook?" She asked, Taehyung nodding and walking over to her.

"Mom say hi!" He smiled, His mom shaking her head in response.

"Hi Jungkook." She laughed, "Excited to see Tae in a few hours?"

Jungkook nodded enthusiastically, a huge smile still spread across his face.

"I honestly can't wait. Like, when I see him I'm going to give him the biggest hug and not let go." He gushed, Taehyung's mom cooing in response and making her son's face heat up.

"Aw you're blushing!" Jungkook giggled, Taehyung covering his face with his free hand.

"Stop.." He whined, the younger shaking his head and smiling reassuringly.

"It's adorable, don't even worry."

"Tae, we're going to need to get going soon alright? You're seeing him in the flesh soon anyway." Mrs. Kim called, Taehyung nodding.

"Alright Kookie, I've got to go. See you soon!" He beamed, Jungkook nodding and blowing a kiss through the screen.

"I can't wait. Bye!"

Taehyung caught the kiss sent to him and held his hand over his heart, much like all of the other times the two had exchanged the action.

The call ended and Taehyung sighed, the excitement kicking in and making him feel giddy.

It was finally going to happen.
