"Really? Awe Jack that's adorable." Syd says with her chin resting on her hand, waiting to hear more and more details about the date.

"Might want to keep you and Mark on the down low. Hell's Helpers are back in town. I know they were here to start with, but there's MORE of them. And by more I mean the whole gang..." I feel my stomach drop, that's the last thing I needed to hear, was that there was more of those ass hats.

"I'm not ready for them."

"no one is. Aly and I have been keeping a bit of distance between each other for the sake of our safety. I'm scared Jack. What if they catch us?" I think back to my dream. Visions of everyone dying pop back into my head. My stomach is in knots and I feel nauseous.

"I don't even want to think about it." Just then a large group of men enter into the cafe. Syd turns to them, then turns back to me.

"I'm not really in the mood for coffee anymore....... I'll um, see you later Jack." Syd shuffles out of the cafe, but is quickly stopped by the group.

"And where do you think you're going? such a pretty girl like you should stick around hmm?" Syd tensed up and was in utter disgust at him, but she remained calm and collected and brushed it off like it was nothing.

"Well handsome, groceries aren't gonna buy themselves you know?" She smiles, years of acting have now actually paid off for her.

"Well doll, best get a move on then." He slaps Syd on the ass and I was offended for her. disgusting.

All of the men approach the counter, i'm a bit feminine so I try and act a little more burly so they don't suspect anything.

There was only one that fully approached the counter, I could tell he was the leader. Both of his very muscular arms were covered in various black line tattoos, the only actual color in there was red. He had stubble and a large forehead, his sunglasses made him seem more intimidating.

"Hello sir, is there anything you would like to order?" They smell of smoke and strong cologne. it burns the insides of my nostrils.

"The blood of the sinners in this fucking town." He says with a menacing smirk. His group laughs. I take a breath and remember that I need to act a certain way, if not, i'm dead.

"I'm sorry, that isn't on our menu." I say trying to act like i'm not scared. I feel the knot in my stomach grow tighter, I begin to get light headed, but I just need to push through this.

"humph. nothing good here then." He looks over the menu and it feels like ages and i'm sure i'm getting sweat stains underneath my shirt.

"Give me a black coffee, extra strong, to go."

"y-yes sir!" He pounds his money down onto the table, he waits, standing in front of the counter with crossed arms. His group had left him to go elsewhere which was a slight weight off of my shoulders.

I brew his cup of coffee as fast as possible so I don't get the shit beaten out of me. I wish the cops would help, but even they were afraid of them which is extremely sad when you think about it.

I place the hot cup of coffee on the counter and try my best to stay positive and fake a smile.

"here's your coffee sir." He grabs the coffee and stares directly into my soul. This went on for 30 seconds, but it felt like 30 minutes. Finally he backed away and left.

I felt myself weaken rapidly, my body felt like jelly and I though I was going to throw up. I need space.

"ANNIE TAKE OVER." Annie looked up from her phone unimpressed as I run into the back. I lock the door to the break room and I feel myself beginning to break down. Tears pour from my eyes and my breath begins to shallow. I feel myself slip from reality into a whirlwind of hell that I couldn't escape. I feel nauseated and end up barfing in a trash can in the room.

"So Jack, how's work going." I look up and I see anti sitting there with a smirk.

"Fuck off."

"well that's no way to treat me, I control you, better watch what you say."

"What do you want?"

"you know those dreams? the on where Syd is dead. Aly is dead. Mark is dead?" I felt a chill crawl down my spine, what was this shit hole getting at?

"yeah? and what about them."

"surprises await around the corner. your friends, and your perfect and precious match, markimoo, better be careful what you do."

"what do you mean."

"figure it out yourself." I hear a knock on the door and the moment I look back to anti, he was gone.

"Jack?" He knocks on the door again "c'mon that girl in front let me back her, let me in before your boss sees me, I don't know how he will react if he sees me, and I kind of don't want to find out." I shakily get up on my feet, forgetting about the whole fit I just had. I unlock and open the door, and there he was, a pained expression on his face. I fall into his arms and begin crying again. he caresses and tries to help me.

"I know, i'm scared too." I feel tears drop onto my back. I look up and I see Mark crying. I could hear in his voice how strong he was trying to be, but we both knew not everyone can be strong forever.

"Stop, we can't both be a mess." I say with a faint smirk. he hugs me tighter.

"I don't know what I would do with myself if something ever happened to you. I just want you to be safe, okay?"

"okay."

"I'll protect you at all costs, I can't lose you."

"Promise?"

"I promise."
