Newbie Part 1

2 months later

"Charlie,Time to wake up.Today is your first day of school"My mom yelled."I don't want to get up"I mumble.Then I process what she just said. 

School? 

First day?

 I jump out out of bed. "Ugh,I forgot"I jump in the shower. IT IS FREEZING!!!!!!My annoying sister used all the warm water!!!! Ugh!! I am going to kill her. And to think I tried to help her!

I jump out and put on some jeans,a t-shirt that says "SPARTA!" on it and a purple sweatshirt.I run downstairs and grab a cereal bar and a chocolate milkshake.I grab my backpack and stuff my books,folders and notebooks in it.I unplug my phone and stuff it in my sweatshirt pockets. 

"Hey,Mom,I am ready"I yelled. "OK,I am coming".I walk to the garage and grab a pair of sneakers.Yup,That was my first day of school day outfit.I am not one of those people who like to dress up.My mom finally appears and plucks the car keys of the kitchen table. "Let's go".I hop into the car and pull out my phone. 3 missed messages. I unlock it and look at the messages.

From:CC(BFF)

To:Charlie

Text:Miss you so much Don't forget to Skype on SATURDAY!:)

I text back saying I miss her too and I will try to Skype tomorrow.

The next two texts are from my Aunt saying that I had left my jewelry at her house and she wanted me to get it ASAP because it was going to get lost again.I roll my eyes and tell her that I will pick it up next week.

I slip my phone back in my pocket and wait for the car to get to school.

We finally arrive at school.I grab my bag and wave bye to my Mom.I walk in and look around.I have no clue where to go.I spot a girl with raven black hair.She looks friendly. I approach her. "Hi,I'm Charlie!Do you know where the administrative office is?"I ask. "I'm Tori,I can show you where it is"She says with a smile. "Thanks"I say with a smile.I follow her through a hall of trophies and we stop at a black door. "Here is where the principal is"She explains. "Thanks,I would have never found it without you."I gush.

She walks away and I knock on the door. 

"Come in"a voice says.

 I walk in and shut the door behind me. "Hi,my name is Charlotte Jotterson but people call me Charlie.I am here to get my  locker #/combination and my schedule." I rush out. She smiles."Nice to meet you.I am Ms.Jenkins and I am your principal".She hands me a schedule and a slip of paper that has my locker number and combination.#224. 

"Thanks"I say before rushing out.

It seems like I am saying thanks in every other sentence.

I scan my eyes over the lockers for mine. #189............ #195............. #200............. #207........... #218.............#224 Found it!I insert my combination,2-14-30 and pull down.It pops off and I unhook it.I put in my books besides.......What do I have next?I take my schedule out of my bag.

Hold it..................Honors Geometry???? I'm in 6th grade,for PETE'S SAKE!!!!
