February 20, 2016

Things have been going great lately I got a promotion at my job, I'm starting school in the spring, I'm going to New Orleans in two weeks to see my best friend Mia give birth to my nephew, Jazz and I talked and we're on good terms but just as friends for right now, and Sky we're good it could probably be better but nothing's official yet.

I'm at my moms house getting dressed to go out with Trey and Joan. I swear I'm never home but my niece birthday party is tomorrow and I told my mom I'd help decorate but if I go home after the club I'm not waking up until later in the day so it's best I stay here.

I just finished my hair when Trey texted saying he was outside. I had on a blue spaghetti strapped dress and black heels and a jacket cause I know it's cold out.

"I'm gone ma!" I yelled as I was walking out the door.

"Bye. Be careful."

I hopped in the car and we headed to Joans house. It's already 11 and I know Joan isn't dressed he never is we'll be at his house another hour. I halfway listened to Trey talk about him and his boyfriend breaking up and how he was ready to move on and find somebody new tonight. It's the same story every weekend. They argue break up and get back together two days later like nothing happened.

We pulled up to Joans house and was let in by his sister. We greeted everyone and went up to his room, of course he wasn't ready.

"Damn bitch you ain't ever ready." Trey always had to start with him.

Joan looked Trey up and down and said "you should've taken longer to get ready."

"I can't fuckin deal with y'all." I was weak as hell. Trey didn't even have a comeback he didn't look bad though but he knows Joan can go all night so it's best he stop while he's ahead.

"I'm not ready yet because we still have to wait on Alex to get here." Alex is Joan's unofficial boo but he's in the military and he's getting ready to leave for a few years.

"Whatever hoe just hurry up."

Joan went to finish getting ready and I texted Jazz I knew she was at work but she's usually not actually doing work she's always watching movies. Our conversation was interrupted when Trey yelled my name.

"Bri I'm bout to cuss him the Fuck out. He talking shit about me on instagram." I already knew he was talking about his "ex".

"Don't even give him the satisfaction. He did it to get your attention cause he knows you're going out tonight." That shit went in one ear and out the other cause he was already dialing his number.

I wasn't about to listen to them argue so I went downstairs to make me a drink and Alex was already there pouring him a drink. We usually pregame or put our drink in a water bottle and drink it up before we get to the club then buy one or two drinks at the club. Irresponsible I know but I usually don't drink as much so I'm the driver.

Joan came down shortly with an attitude and I already knew why. This night is already starting off bad and we haven't even left yet.

"Why the hell they arguing? Why are they even talking?" Joan asked me.

Once I explained everything to Joan he yelled for Trey to come downstairs. We could hear his whole conversation the whole way down.

"Look we're ready to go and nobody wants to hear you arguing when you get in the car."

Trey hung up and we headed to Joan's car. Trey was driving, Joan in the passenger and me and Alex in the back. We sat in silence for about 10 mins they Trey started driving crazy on the highway.
