"Y/N!! I NEED HELP!!" A guard shouted at you. Needing help.
"W-what is wrong?" You asked creating a shield around.
"We lost, *cough* there are no more guards,*cough*." He said as you lifted his hand to see what he is covering. You saw a stab. He was stabbed in the torso. With a sword.
"Wait, I-I can heal you." You pulled out your staff and prepared. But he pushed your hand away."W-Wha---"
"No, at least I'll die with honors." He said while he did a weak salute. "Honor serving you, princess." That was his last words. Your head guard, the last guard you ever talked to. You felt a tear slide down your cheek. You stood up and looked everywhere, seeing every single guard, dead. More tears slide down your cheek.
"No." You whispered at myself."NO!!"
"Hey, please wake up. Wake up!" You shouted at your dead bestfriend as you shake her. Please don't be dead. You opened her closed fists and you found a letter and a gem.
Dear Y/N,
I would like to say that I love you as a best friend. If you are reading this, I'm dead. I wouldn't show this if I'm dead. This war, I don't know what will happen. But if you are reading this, you are not dead. I really hope you won't forget us. I'm giving you this gem, I have this since I was a little kid. This is a remembrance of all who died.
I really love you, as a sister. I know we are not really sisters, but, I really think we are. :)

Oh no, more tears shed. You reached the castle and see dead guards, everywhere. Some of the people in the kingdom have vanished, evacuated. They left the kingdom without a word. You walked directly to the throne room and You see your father, the king, sitting on his throne. Breathing heavily. You walked closer to him and he smiled.
"I'm happy you are still alive,
y/n." Your father cupped his hands around your cheeks. You felt more tears sliding down your cheeks. "Dad, I'm glad YOU are alive." You cried and smiled.
"I'm sorry, but not for long."
'What did he mean?' You said in your thoughts.
"Dad? DAD? DAD!!" You shouted, but no one can hear you. You cried until you stood up, confidently, brave strong woman. You quickly got out the castle. You grabbed your staff and left your kingdom. Your home, a lot of your child memories about to vanish. Where you grew up, where you meet a lot of friends. What have the war done?
You ran as fast as you could. Not knowing where you're going. You didn't realize that there was a branch about to hit you. You directly ran into the branch and BAM! Everything is black.
I know what a short chapter, but I'm going to make longer ones in the future.
