Levin's POV
"We had a war. We checked everywhere, but we cannot see the princess of the kingdom (whatever you want your kingdom name is.). We assumed that she came here, this is the closest village she can get to. I'm hoping that you saw her around the premises of your village." Lady Regina said. What war? I am not informed.
"I am REALLY sorry, lady Regina. But I believe that we didn't saw anyone in our premises." I said.
"Thank you for taking your time." We stood up and she held her hands up for a handshake, I did the same. We got out of the house.
Your POV
"What did they talk about? You think it's about....." Aphmau asked. You know Lady Regina, she is the one who started the war. Your body is filled with anger. All you could do is think about it. You can't do anything, she will find out you're still alive.
"Mom, I have a question to ask." Levin said. "Privately."
"Sure Levin." Aphmau followed Levin.
"Hey, Katelyn. I'm going to go back at Aphmau's house. Just need some time alone." You said when tears felt your eyes.
"Sure.....are you okay?" Katelyn asked. You just mumbled 'nothing' and you left.
"W-Why did she do that? I-I don't understand, j-just because father did not marry her?!" You whispered to yourself.
*knock knock*
"Hey can I come in? Who ever you are." You heard a familiar voice, it's that Travis guy.
"Come in." You said as you wiped your tears from your face.
"Aph----Didn't know you are here. Did you cry?" Travis said being serious.
"I did, can I tell you everything? Can I trust you?" You said being serious.
"Yeah sure."
"Did you know the reason why I'm here?" You asked.
" Uhhhh, no."
"I am a princess."
"Wait, WHAT?! REALLY?!"
"Hush, please. We had this war. You saw the unfamiliar ship that is docking earlier? They are familiar for me. That's the village that we had war with. A-And--" You started crying, Travis put his arms around your shoulders. It comforted you a bit."I-It killed everyone I love, sh-she killed my father, I d-don't know why, THEY killed everyone. Our forces was down at the moment. Everyday, one guard disappear. Then the time of war we have low forces. She is a VERY intelligent person. All I have left is this."You said crying more, you got the gem out of your pocket.
"Well, I am so sorry for what happened." Travis said, patting your back.
"Thank you for taking your time, Travis. Guess we're friends." You hugged him, he hugged you back. You blushed a bit.
"Friends." You both broke your hug. You feel more relieved.
"Please, don't ever tell anyone about what I said. Travis, or else, a punch from Katelyn." You said.
"Yeah, I will." He got out of Aphmau's house.
"Why is Travis from here?!" Katelyn barged in.
" I told him everything. So I can be relieved." You explained.
"Well, uhh Levin said that "Lady Regina" Is finding a princess, he said it's from your kingdom." Katelyn explained.
" I know her, SHE started THE WAR. You think she is nice and pretty and perfect, well she is NOT." You said.
