"Just have some fun," I tell  him impatiently. Iroh turned over to me with that dumb serious face he always makes. "We shouldn't be at this stupid fair in the first place, we are royalty and have royal things to do." I glared at him as I picked up a schedule. "Royal things like what?" I asked impatiently. "Just, like, things," Iroh said stupidly. I looked down at the schedule for the fair. The next thing that was coming up was the talent show, but we would probably be a bit early. "Want to see the talent show?" I asked. Iroh glared at me. "If we could use our powers, we could be in it." Iroh responded stubbornly. I raise a pile of earth from the ground and throw it at his leg. It doesn't even phase him anymore. "Even if we can't use our powers, that doesn't mean we can't have fun today," I suggest. Iroh smiles. He hasn't done that in a while. I look at the map of the fair grounds and start walking to the theater where the talent show was held in. As I expected, we were one of the first ones there. Iroh and I sat near the front of the stage, but it was clearly obvious how cheaply put together this fair was. The stands were clearly easy to take apart, and the chairs were flimsy. The ground was fully exposed. Butterflies were fluttering about. Iroh rose earth from the ground and threw it at me, as karma from earlier. I smiled. Iroh isn't usually this playful, because of all the duties he has back home in Genova. Even though we are twins, Iroh is heir to the throne, because he was born first. That means he has a lot to do, and a reputation to keep. I mean, I was a princess so it was somewhat important, but not so badly I couldn't have fun. People were slowly filling up the theater, and I see a few kids go behind the curtain. Iroh grasps my hand and looks at me. "What is it?" I whisper irritability. Iroh gestures behind me with his head. I turn around and see a group of soldiers dressed in blinding white suits, with the anti-super crest on their right shoulder. I turn around quickly and grasp my chair tightly. Suddenly, the first kid gets onto the stage. She is a little girl, probably four or five, and she sings twinkle twinkle little star. When I was four I was learning how to rule a country...The girl sings really cute, for her age, and her hair is done up really nicely. The next are two teenage boys who skate around the stage with death metal music playing. At the end of their performance, they pick up their boards and kiss. They get a few boos from that. Assholes. The next performance is a bit strange. Two people, a boy and a girl walk onto the stage. The girl is pretty, with light brown hair that is shaved on one side. The boy next to her is very small and skinny, with dark skin and curly hair. The girl grabs a microphone and clears her throat. "The anti-super association needs to stop." The punk girl says with pride. I hear a gun load behind me. "Idiots like them are causing us to lose friends, family, and our own dignity to their prisons. My own sisters were murdered in an attempt to find supers." The crowd is booing, and I hear more guns being loaded. "This is ridiculous! Robbie and I are supers, and you can't stop us! Supers, join us and rebel!" As a gun is fired, I summon a wall of earth to slow it down. Iroh is putting earth and stones within the barrel of the guns to stop them from firing. People are flooding from the theater, screaming and grabbing their children. I hear the girl yell, "ROBBIE, GO HOME AND HIDE!" And with a flash, the boy is gone. They really are supers. The theater is now empty except for us and the squad of soldiers. As I am helping Iroh load the barrels of the guns, the girl pulls at a bowie knife and uses it to cut the badges from the shoulder of each of their suits and put them in the pocket of her torn jeans. "What the hell are you doing?" I yell to her. "None of your business kid, and where did you learn to fight? These soldiers aren't even falling down!" She kicks four soldiers in their chests, and they each collapse, grasping their ribs. Iroh seems to be holding up, but he is clearly fatigued. I hear a gunshot and a groan. I turn to Iroh and he has a large red spot on the shoulder of his blue and grey flannel. I fall to my knees. I feel a sharp pierce in the back of my neck, and feel I can't move. "She's not a super, leave her, it was the big who was summoning the rocks." I try to turn my head, but that makes it feel as if my neck is being gripped by cement. Damn tranquilizer. I stay there laying on the floor, as I suddenly see the punk girl run, but there is another gunshot and she takes a bullet to the foot. She keeps running, until a little feathered dart sends her to the ground, frozen. I feel a tear fall from my eye. Iroh was gone. The little boy walked back into the theater. "Kendra! What happened?" He yells as he rushes to the girl, Kendra apparently, and pulls the tranquilizer out from Kendra's hand. Kendra scowls. "Robbie, I told you to go home." Tears come to Robbie's eyes. I would be crying too, Kendra's voice was very dominating. I feel the tranquilizer wearing off. I pick the dart from my neck and stand up. I brush myself off, then raise a cave of earth around me and Kendra. She looks me straight in the eyes, then kicks me in the stomach and knocks me down. "What do you want, kid?" She presses her boot onto the side of my head. "You don't do this to me just for fun. Tell me, what do you want?" I begin to cry. "They took Iroh." Kendra immediately released her child on my head and backed against a wall. "But why the hell would you do anything about it? You were to busy tearing off badges to notice him get shot." I sad I angrily. Kendra held a hand out to me. I eyed it suspiciously, but then grabbed it as she pulled me from the ground. "I will help you." Kendra said, quietly, "I promise." I lifted my hands and then pushed them down quickly to put down the wall. Robbie ran toward Kendra and hugged her leg. I smiled. I offered my hand to Kendra. "I'm Ruby," I said as she shook it, "princess of Genova." Kendra smiled. "I'm Kendra. Princess of nothing." Robbie snickered. His face looked very mature, though the rest of his body was that of a child. He had been through a lot. "So, princess, we gotta head back to base if we are gonna find your brother. Just follow us." Kendra said, beginning to walk. It just struck me. Kendra had gotten shot in the foot, yet she was still walking. Was she invincible, or could she just heal? I decide not to ask. What if she was sensitive about the subject? I still can't believe Iroh is gone...what if he never comes back? The thought gives me shivers. I walk down the roads silently behind Kendra. I can hear Robbie whispering to her. "Who's that girl? Is she really a princess? Why did she try to fight you?" I will give the kid credit for being curious. However, too much curiosity is never a good thing. As we reached the end of a street of small houses, Kendra popped a key from her pocket wand opened a door. The house was messy, and it had a bad odor. Kendra threw the badges from her pocket into the floor and flopped down onto the couch. She threw Robbie the patches from the soldier's suits and he ran off into a different room in a flash. "What is this place," I ask, looking at the stains of blood on the wall. "It's Robbie's place. He's been alone here for a while," Kendra replies. Robbie must be a really smart kid. Kendra sat up and patted the other half of the couch. I sat down next to her. Kendra pulled a small wad of paper out if her pocket. It was a map of America. "I know the anti-supers are keeping their prisoners somewhere in the country. It's been proven that ninety percent of the world's supers come from the US. We are here," she said pointing at a spot labeled Hallsville, Missouri. "We are going to find them, and get your brother back." "What about your sisters?" I asked curiously. "That's none of your business." Kendra said quickly. Kendra stood up and left the living room. I looked at the map again, looking around America. Wherever you are, Iroh, I will find you.
