Chapter 7

I finished my pancake and walked upstairs to my room. I lied down on my bed as my door opened. I looked up and saw Mikey. He looked at me and said "You wanna go out on a date with me tonight. The guys are going out with their girls and I wanna take you out." I smiled at the thought of maybe Mikey liking me 'cause I like him a lot. "Yes I would love to. Do I dress up or dress down?" I giggled at my own joke. "That's funny. Go ahead and wear what you feel comfortable in." He walked over and kissed my head and walked out and said "See you at 5." I got up and took my shower and did my hair and makeup and then put on my black ripped skinny jeans and my green day tee-shirt and put on my white vans. I looked over at the clock while I was tying my shoe, it read 4:55. I finished tying my shoes and ran downstairs to the living room hwere Mikey was wear the same thing as me. I looked at him and he looked at me and yelled "TWINSIES!" I laughed and I looked at him and said "I take it we are not going any where fancy tonight." He laughed and said "No the beach." I looked at him and said "The beach!" He laughed and then said "Also the boardwalk." I started jumping up and down and then stopped and said "Stay cool." Mikey laughed and he grabbed my hand and we walked down to the boardwalk and we walked around. I saw a game and the winner won a giant stuffed panda. I walked over and pulled out a 5 dollar bill and Mikey said "No i'm paying." I laughed and said "Okay but i'm buying corn-dogs and candy floss (cotton candy)." He said "After I win you this panda." After 3 tries he got the panda and we walked over to a little shop with carnival food and we eat corn-dogs and candy floss. After that we walked over to the beach and watched the sunset. It was really pretty. After we got up Mikey looked at me. "What?" I asked "Nothing just you look so pretty in the moonlight." I giggled and said "Thanks." He looked at me and said "Will you be my girlfriend, I have liked you for a while now." I shook me head yes and we had what seemed like the longest hug and then walked home.
