I need to tell them about the prophecy... If we even go on a quest, Alex would insist on having Tidal come, and eventually the girls will bring their significant others... I'll be all alone...
I sighed. Xi Lan leapt up into my lap, purring. Stroking him, I spoke. "Um, there's a possibility the prophecy hasn't been quite fulfilled." The girls looked at me as if I had sprouted horns. (which I have the past school year)
"Well, it is pretty obvious isn't it?" I said. "The prophecy talked about an 'everlasting famine' and oh, look at that, EVERLASTING."
Blaze nodded. "I noticed that, too. This probably calls for a journey."
"In this book I read," Kasey began. "It spoke about this mountain, a mystical mountain, and a woman lives there. She knows all about prophecies, so maybe we could ask her."
Rose and I nodded. "What book was it?" Alex asked.
Kasey answered, "Uh, 'Mountains of the World.' It's somewhere in Germany... Uhh, Alp..... Alp-something"
"Alpspitze Mountain?" I asked.
"Yeah, however you say that." Kasey replied.
Alex asked, "Wait, so we're going to Germany?"
I nodded.
"Does anyone here know German?!" Alex asked again.
I nodded.
"You?" She asked.
I nodded.
"WHY DO YOU KEEP NODDING?!?!?" Alex screamed.
I shrugged.
"There's a shrug" Rose said.
I nodded.
"AUUUGGGGHHHH" Alex growled as she face palmed herself.
"Was kann ich sagen?" I shrugged.
