I was woken up by my head being placed on an actual pillow that was on an actual bed. They have become endangered species to me the last couple of weeks. Every way I looked was pitch black except for a window looking out to the city lights before someone went to close the curtains silently thinking I was asleep. The figure followed by unbuttoning his jeans and slipping them off followed by his shirt. With the back-light, I could see the perfect angles of his torso followed by the indention of muscles that showed when he turned ever so slightly. Shaggy hair was in his face until he brushed it back in a sweep making it more than perfect. Its golden tone stood out against pale moonlight. Thomas started walking over to the bed again as my eyes snapped shut and my muscles went limp so he wouldn't notice. In one motion, his hand outstretched and brushed some of the hairs out of my face before it continued to my jaw outlining it perfectly before he leaned close enough for me to feel his breathe on my frozen features. And then, in the back of my mind, I begged for the gentle touch of his lips on mine.

"This is insane." He whispered to himself in a hushed tone still thinking I was asleep. "I'm insane."

"Thomas?" I tried to sound weak like I had just woken up from a year long sleep even without my prince charming's kiss. Thomas fumbled back since he was already on his way to the chair he was about to claim as his bed and to my side leaning over and letting his muscles flex as much as possible.

"I didn't mean to wake you up. You can go back to sleep--"

"Lay with me. Don't sleep in the chair you'll hurt your back."

A shy smile weighed onto his face as he took a couple of seconds to think about it before climbing on top of the sheet and laying on his back with his hands covering his torso. He was about ten feet away from me as I let out a small laugh and then pulled a larger blanket over him before turning off the light for the night.

A knock came at the door waking me up in daylight but Thomas was still fast asleep followed by some children's giggles and then footsteps running down the hallway. My stirring caused Thomas to wake and rub the sleep from his eyes when i noticed that one of her arms was around me and then the slightly red spot on his bare chest where my head had rested through the night.

"Its just a couple of kids if you want to get some more rest." his hair stood up in the back from the way he was resting. It made me laugh.

"Your voice gets really deep in the morning." We both has something to laugh about as he stood and slipped on a pair of jeans and a fresh cotton v-neck before going into the lower drawers and pulling out a pair of jeans and a shirt. My jeans and shirt. "I washed them and I knew you wouldn't want to be in the same clothes for four days straight."

The clothes smelled like fresh lavender as I headed into the bathroom to take a quick shower, by myself, and then get dressed in completely fresh clothing. When I headed out again, Thomas was already packed with all the food he could find and extra blankets stuffed in his overly expanded back pack.

"We need to go. The sooner the better." His face wasn't the sensitive one I have started to grow used to, but now it is the one I first met at the end of the bar, Determined and on a mission. Lets hope this one is a little different. "We can get breakfast downstairs in the restaurant."

"I don't need to eat--"

"You need to eat something. We will be on the road most likely. They are bound to find us here." All I could do was nod even though thinking about getting back 'on the road' reminded me of the cargo containers where I was first shipped instead of something like an airplane or car. "I was thinking if you still had any family in Texas I could leave you there where they can't find you."
