Wow ... do you know 'To Live Again' the fanfiction has crossed well over 2.5 million reads between here on Wattpad, FFN, and AO3. What an incredible achievement and one which was nowhere near possible without all of you excellent people. So I figured it was high time to do the thing ... the thing I've been working on for a few years ... the big thing ...
THE MOST REQUESTED REWRITE.
Yes. I'm turning 'To Live Again' into an original novel. Fret not, I'm sticking very close to the bones of the original plot and characters, but moving away from Tolkien's Middle Earth and our beloved elves, and into the uncharted, wild territory of the mythic Seelie of Ireland--the Fae.
It's taken me a few years to build the research, improve my writing, and get to a point where I feel emotional ready to delve back in again. There's been a lot of discussion. A lot of tea drinking. And, no small amount of 'is this even possible' self-doubt. But, despite that, I'm here. The character's are here, and we're ready to par-tay ... Smirkwood style.
So, to those rejoining the journey *raises teacup* expect something brand new, but still with a big old hunk of familiar. Yes, there will be a 'babylas' version, hopefully just as cute. And, we'll still have a prince with his silvery-grey eyes and sassy mouth, his moronic (but beloved) best friend, a brilliant bestie, and one, Clara, with a few tweaks. And to the new guys ... welcome, welcome. tea's a four and no need to knock :)
