"Gimme your phone number so we can communicate." Mark extended his phone out to Bambam who looked a bit stunned at the sudden movement but he blinked and took Mark's phone carefully.
"What about the rest of them?" Bambam looked over at the others who were sitting on rocks outside of the school doors while laughing and smiling brightly with each other.
"Oh don't worry, I'll just put you in a group chat with us and they can take your number there. Do you need someone to walk home with you?" Mark looked at him after taking back his phone and Bambam shook his head.
"No thank you Mark hyung, I don't live very far away." Bambam let out a smile as Jinyoung ran over and placed his head on Mark's shoulder with a pout."Bambam are you coming with us to the cafe?" He looked hopeful and when Bambam had to shake his head sadly Jinyoung followed his actions. "That's okay, tomorrow?"
"I wouldn't miss it."
"I'm gonna add him into the group chat so we can talk about it tonight." Mark added speaking quietly and Jinyoung now nodded with a returned soft smile.
"That sounds good-" He notices Bambam looking past the school and he moves up from Mark. "Yugyeom, Youngjae-ah, Jaebum hyung Bambam is leaving come say goodbye!" Jinyoung yells, making Mark chuckle and hold his hand.
The three boys make their way over and all wave and say their goodbyes to Bambam who walks down the path with his own cute smile playing on his lips. He admires how close the group of friends is and he doesn't regret sitting with them at lunch and hanging out with them during spare period.
During the peaceful walk, he let his thoughts wander off to Jackson, who seemed to take a weird interest in him when they met and talked for a fair amount of time. Despite everyone saying Jackson was scary and careless, he wanted to know every detail about Bambam's life.
Bambam felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and glanced at the text which read-
"Welcome our new beloved Bambam."His smile grew again and he was going to type out a response when he got pulled back abruptly and stopped. He looked up to see a street filled with cars ahead of him and he looked back shyly to see who the hand belonged to.
"Bammie you need to look up where you're going." Jackson chuckled and helped him get back onto the pathway.
"I'm sorry hyung." He laughed along with Jackson and glanced at him after slipping his phone back in his pocket.
"Don't worry about it. Do you live this way?" Bambam nodded and Jackson smiled. "I'll walk you home."
"You don't have to."
"You're right, but I want to." Jackson readjusted the backpack strap hung over his one shoulder and Bambam looked down at the ground."Can I tell you something?" Bambam asked timidly.
"Yeah, what's up?"
"Mark hyung and his friends told me about how you act in school." Jackson went from looking cheery to not showing anything the next second. Bambam noticed and put his hand on his arm. "I'm not going to ask you to explain why, I just wanted you to know I am aware of the differences."
"You're not going to think I'm stupid for doing that?" Jackson scoffs and rolls his eyes as he looks forward.
"No, of course not." Bambam moves his hand hesitantly and returns it back to his pocket. "I won't ask or even bring it up if you don't want me to hyung."
Jackson briefly looked at Bambam whose expression also dropped and he feels suddenly guilty. "I'm not mad they told you, if that's what you're worried about."
