*Kakashi's POV*
Yani eventually cries herself to sleep. Earlier she got up and moved to the highest branch because she mumbled something about someone watching her. I wander who?? ( sarcasm)
As she leans on the tree her head falls to her shoulder causing the weight to become uneven and she started falling, instantly waking up screaming.
I raced down the tree and barely caught her in time. She started breathing heavily and kept her face buried in my chest and clenched my shirt.
I jumped to the ground.
"We're on solid ground now."
She shook her head and tightened her grip. I smiled and carried her back to my house.
"We're back at my house."
With her face still buried in my chest she didn't answer.
"Yani?"
She fell asleep.
I walked into the guest room and laid her in bed pulling the covers over her shoulders. She rolled to her side as I left the room.
Two or so hours go by and Yani finally wakes up.
"Yo sleepy head."
I smile with my eyes closed and put up two fingers. She yawns and smiles.
"Hi Kakashi. Sorry about that."
"There's nothing to be sorry about. Do you want me to go with you to your house today?"
"Sure. I'll probably have to stay in a hotel till they I get it fixed."
"You can stay here."
"Are you sure?"
"Yep! You can also help with my little genin if you want."
Her face lights up.
"Really?! Maybe you can help train me too. My father taught me some things but very little. I want to learn to defend myself."
"Of course!"
Later after Yani eats we walk through town to her house. The door was split in two and the inside was completely destroyed. We spend the afternoon gathering the few unbroken belongings of Yani's and head back to my house. After she decorates her room we go back in town to get her some clothes.
