Shizune stepped into the building, and looked around. She saw Tobi's body, and didn't seem bothered, but when she saw Tenji, she looked from Tsunade back to him. She raised her brows, as if asking why he was still alive.

"What should we do with him?" Sasuke asked, pointing to the cowering man, who was staring at Tobi's corpse.

"Kill him," Tsunade said immediately. Everyone nodded, and Naruto gave her the sword he was holding.

"Would you like to do the honors?" he asked. Tsunade nodded, and then paused. She looked at the sword, Tenji, and then the floor and sighed.

"Do you think Ino and Sakura will want to watch? Since he tricked them too, you know?" She was pitifully sad about having to wait. Naruto shook his head.

"I think they'll be fine just knowing you got revenge for them too," he said with a shrug. "I'll leave you to your business." He left the cell, followed by Hinata.

"Wait, Naruto, I've got news for you," Shizune said desperately, eyes widening dramatically at Jiraiya. "Are you going to stop me this time?"

"Why yes, I thought I would," he said grinning. "Come, Naruto, let's go get you some ramen." He passed a speechless Shizune at the door. Naruto's brows rose and he looked at Shizune, but she just put her head in her hands and shook it. Naruto shrugged, and waited as Tsunade finished her business, since she told him to wait, and everyone followed Jiraiya to Naruto's favorite ramen stand.

"Order whatever you want," Jiraiya said to Naruto. "It's on me. Or Shizune. Or Tsunade."

"What?" Shizune shrieked. "No, this is your idea. You are the one paying."

"I don't even know what this is for, so I'm definitely not paying for it," Tsunade said, smacking Jiraiya. Jiraiya grumbled, but luckily for him, Naruto didn't eat that much. His appetite still wasn't large, thanks to his bloodloss, so he ordered the smallest thing on the menu. He sat with Hinata in silence when he finished, while everyone talked around them.

"How's your wound?" he asked, glancing at her side. She pulled up her shirt a little to let him see. It was bandaged, and no blood was showing through it, so Naruto smiled.

"It wasn't very bad. Didn't really hurt either. It just bled a lot," Hinata answered. The blond nodded and glanced around him.

"Think everything's finally over?" Naruto asked. He didn't think he could get used to the idea that nobody was watching his every move. It still felt like it, but there was no one around. No one there to watch anymore. As soon as Tobi died, everyone that worked for him was free to go. Only Tenji had really been loyal to him.

"I do," Hinata said, grabbing his hand under the counter. "You can relax now."

"I don't think I can ever relax," Naruto said miserably. "But do I still have to worry that everyone I care about will be hurt because of me?" Hinata smiled softly.

"No, you don't. Not anymore. Tobi's gone. Nobody's there to hurt us anymore." She leaned her head on his shoulder.

"What do I do now?" Naruto wondered suddenly. "I don't think I know how to live like a normal person anymore."

Hinata snorted. "I don't think anyone here knows how to. Life will always be interesting here, with all these idiots. I think you'll find enough things to do. Maybe keep them from killing themselves."

Naruto laughed. "All right, I'll do that." Jiraiya cleared his throat and everyone looked at him. He smiled goofily at Naruto and then looked to Shizune.

"Since Shizune let me do what I wished, I'll let her be the one to tell you, Naruto." He sat down and let the short haired woman stand and turn to the blond.

"Finally. We did some tests on you Naruto," she began. "I wanted to see if I could identify the infection in your chakra. I think Tobi must have made some mistake, because it wasn't as deadly as the one I was looking for. I did a lot of tests, and it was the only one I could find. I was able to pull it out. Naruto, you aren't going to die."

No one moved for a long time. Naruto stared at Shizune, not breathing, as if afraid she'd start laughing and say it was a joke. But she didn't. Jiraiya let out a loud, joyful laugh, and Sasuke whipped his head to Naruto. Kiba stared at the blonds neck, where the infection had spread, but it didn't seem as dark as it used to be. Hinata squealed and jumped on Naruto, pulling him into a tight hug. He felt her tears on his shoulder, but he could only stare at Shizune and Jiraiya, numb. Tsunade let out a girlish laugh, and Naruto looked at her. She was crying. He finally smiled and pulled Hinata closer to him, hugging her as tight as he could. He felt his eyes water, but no drops slipped from his eyes. He turned to his team and was surprised to see Sai bawling his eyes out. Lee and Tenten hugged each other as they laughed, ignoring their tears, and Shino's lips were turned up in a small smile. Naruto almost fell over at the sight of it. Shikamaru patted his back, and Sasuke and Kiba just continued to stare at their friend with wide eyes. Naruto began laughing, his relief overwhelming him. He wasn't going to die.

Hinata pulled back and smiled at him. It was the biggest smile he'd ever seen on her face. He smiled softly at her, and grabbed both of her hands and pulled back a little more.

"So, now that I'm not going to die, do you want to stay with me?" Naruto asked, staring into her eyes. She tilted her head and furrowed her brows.

"For how long?"

Naruto pretended to think about it. "Oh, I don't know. Forever, maybe?"
