Tobi watched as all color drained from Naruto's face, deciding he felt a bit of pity for the boy. He didn't hate Naruto by any means, actually liked the boy. He was useful and did what he was told without question...for the most part. There were those few times where the blond questioned his authority, but it was always worth him taking his time to punish him. Naruto was a hard worker, and Tobi needed hard workers. If only he had never gone back to Konoha. Now Tobi was killing himself for his foolishness at letting him return. The boy left him and returned to those weak fools. But no matter how Naruto had betrayed him, Tobi didn't want to kill the guy. It didn't seem right.

Tobi snorted. Who was he kidding? He'd love to kill Naruto in front of all the people he cared about. What was right and what was wrong? Didn't matter to him anymore. He just followed orders.

"Naruto," Tobi said smoothly, reaching to touch his cheek. Naruto flinched but didn't pull back. The masked man nodded approvingly and stared down at his chest. The blood ran down Naruto's chest and soaked his pants. Finally, Tobi thought, with a roll of his eyes. The brat had taken far too long to get that bad. That other boy, the blond's past partner...what was his name? He'd taken just as long as Naruto had. They were so stubborn. Anyone else had died months earlier, and Tobi was beginning to grow angry that the boy in front of him was still breathing. Oh well, he'd fix that in a moment.

"Tobi," Naruto acknowledged with a gulp. "I wasn't expecting to see you." He tried to keep his tone neutral, but Tobi saw and heard the fear and hatred and reveled in it.

He smirked. "Not expecting me to come in person?" Anger replaced the smirk, which as much as Naruto hated it, would have preferred it to the masked man's rage. It was never pretty. "No," he continued. "Of course not. Everyone turned traitor on me, so I came to finish the job myself."

"Think you can?" a voice taunted. Tobi realized belatedly that the brunette with the dog had spoken. Why was that dog so big? Wait, when had it even gotten there? He waved the thought off and turned back to the blond, only to be disturbed again.

"You're not taking him again!" a girl screamed. Tobi caught the fist sailing towards him without blinking.

"Just let me take the brat and I'll let you live," the masked man ground out, clenching the wrist of the girl. Hinata, right? Tobi shrugged, already bored trying to remember. If he'd cared, he'd remember her name. But he didn't care, so he disregarded everything about her.

"We're not letting you take him," a new voice sounded. Tobi growled. Seriously, how many friends did the kid have? They were popping up every few seconds. Granted, they could have been there already. He hadn't paid attention to the room when he arrived. This person caught his eye at least, otherwise he would have tossed a kunai into the person's heart. This person he knew well. Sasuke Uchiha. Tobi almost laughed in glee. He'd always wanted him. The Uchiha would make a nice tool.

"Your Hokage will decide for us," Tobi said with a sneer. "I have other ways of convincing you to come with me, Naruto. I suggest you take my offer."

The blond eyed him with narrowed. "She hates me now. You'll get me anyway."

"Mm, smart boy," Tobi said chuckling. "But no. I'm giving you a fair chance now." Yeah, that was a lie, but Naruto didn't need to know that. Whatever that woman said, Tobi would take him and kill him in front of everyone who cared for him. Which meant all of Konoha. Tobi licked his lips. This was going to be fun.

"Fine, whatever," Naruto agreed. "But you will not hurt anyone else. Deal?"

"Of course," Tobi said innocently. "I only want you. Why should I care for any of them? Unless you mean the Uchiha. I might take him."

"I'll go with you willingly before I let that happen," Naruto muttered, glaring at the mask. Tobi shrugged.

"I tried, Sasuke dear." At those words, the Uchiha took out a kunai and tossed it at the man. Didn't even get close. Tobi was at the other side of the room before any of them could react. He moved a finger back and forth, clicking his tongue, as if dealing with a child. "That's a no no. What's keeping me from killing him now, Naruto?"

"If you want to live, you'll leave him, and everyone else in Konoha, alone." Naruto's threat was empty. Tobi had a tool they didn't know about or have. This fight would be too easy.

"Sure," the man said lazily. "Tenji, get the Hokage." The man outside disappeared to do his bidding, and Tobi smiled. Oh yeah, this would be over in minutes. "Get ready, Naruto." He laughed merrily. "Your life is already over."

Okay, this is ending real soon....sooner than I had planned. Hopefully I don't end it too quickly. If it ends stupidly and too fast tell me. I don't always recognize it...Anyway, I getta start the second one!!!!! Okay, I actually already started it, but hey, I'm gonna be able to put it on here soon. I'm using a plot skeleton this time so hopefully it'll be better.

Anywho, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I certainly did. My bro came home, and sure, it was only for like, a day and a half, but it was still nice seeing him. It was a nice and peaceful day for me. Ohhhh, and at 5, we headed to my grandparents and I gotta see some family so that was cool. Yep. Love you all! Hope you enjoyed. (Merry late Christmas, btw...sorry I didn't get the story up for you all yesterday)

Ohhhhhhhh and before I forget, all you wonderful people, I'm begging you, please give me some title suggestions for the second Becoming....I suck at coming up with titles!!!!! Like Becoming? Ugh, I want something that really has something to do with the story, and that wasn't just something that popped into my little brain. (oh, and yeah, the update took this long to get up because I couldn't get my keyboard to work on my pc, so I couldn't write the next part)
