Chapter One

I woke up cold in face with fear, my body trembling.

"Lisa, are you ok?" asked Richard.

I looked up at him standing at my bedside ,I looked away. He turned to go but I caught his hand " Richard, did you turn me into who you are ? " i asked.

He didn't answer me. " Richard , tell me please. I beg of you " I asked again.

I carefully raised my self from the bed. I admit i was a little weak but it didn't matter at that time.Richard sat down but he didn't speak a word.After looking at me for a while he spoke " Lisa , i don't want to scare u by answering the questions."

and without saying a word more he left leaving me heart broken.

I somehow passed the night thinking about the old days. When Richard used to love me like anything.I didn't understand when sleep overcame me....

                  After getting ready in the morning, i escaped the town to a secret place where i was hoping to meet someone. The place where that someone and i used to watch the sun setting and rising, spending quiet moments together.I went to the old rickety bench we had made and sat on it , watching the sun rise.Without any warning somebody covered my eyes and said " Guess who ?" I smiled from ear to ear on hearing that melodic voice. I turned and came face to face with my best friend,Dominic.

                   " Hey! Lisa,along time no see! " He said and he came to sit beside me." It was you who left without any notice not me .." I said making a face at him.

                    "Okay , I admit its was my fault but your are not angry on me are you? He asked making a puppy dog face. I laughed and hugged him.It is hard to saty agry when he makes this face."Dominic,do I ever stay angry at you for more than thirty seconds?" I replied a small smile playing on my face. He gave me a genuine smile just after hearing my reply.

                     Then suddenly he turned serious "Lisa I have to tell u something important"

"Okay , go on." I replied the smile on my face fading away.

"I am a vampire...." he replied looking away from my gaze.
