He’s joking right? I thought to myself.

“Dawn I’m not joking.” He spoke as if reading my mind.

I looked up at him with astonishment. Dominic just sighed and spoke,” I can read minds including yours”

I mumbled oh in understanding.

“Lisa, what is that on your neck?” Dominic suddenly asked curiously his eyes on the bite Richard gave me yesterday.

I quickly covered it with my hand and replied, “I-its n-nothing. Just a w-wound.”

“Lisa don’t lie to me please.” He said with a pleading look. He came closer to me and gently removed my hand. I watched as his eyes widened on seeing the bite.

“Lisa, who did this to you?!” He asked in panic.

“Nobody. Trust me; it’s nothing to worry about.” I replied with a sigh.

“You’ve got to be kidding me Lisa. Just speak up who it is.” He said starting to look frustrated.

I contemplated for a minute if I should tell him or not and finally came to a conclusion that he’s going to get to know the truth sooner or later so I should be sensible and tell him truthfully, him being my best friend.

“It was R-Richard” I spoke softly looking down at my sneakers.

“WHAT?!? That’s no possible.” Dominic exclaimed.

“Dominic believe it or not, Richard is a vampire like you” I sighed

Dominic was silent for some time his face serious as hell.

Suddenly He took my hand and told me to come with him.

Don’t know where the hell we are going and what’s going to happen. But I trust Dominic and I’m sure whatever he is doing is for the good of me.

We made way to his Ferrari. I know, what you are thinking. Dominic is plenty rich but that lad is not spoilt by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Scott.

Dominic like a true gentleman he is opened the door for me and once I was seated, closed the door behind me and then sat in the driver’s seat. Hitting on the gas Dominic sped off toward out destination which was still unknown to me.

“Are you going to tell me where we are going?” I asked him.

“I want to ask Richard why he did this to you” He simply answered

“Dominic there’s no need of doing so. It’s done what is done. It’s of no use going to Richard. Plus I’m fine as you can see.” I said trying to change Dominic’s decision.

“Lisa, don’t try to change my decision. It’s of no use okay? I am going to do what I want. Just trust me.” He replied

I just let out a huff and turned my head towards the window. If he wants a silent treatment then the silent treatment he will get.

“Lisa….Lisa…It is the silent treatment then is it? Lisa ill tickle you once we reach if you don’t talk to me. You know how much I hate it when you give me a silent treatment.” He whined like a child.
