-Lisa’s P.O.V-
I was lost in Ryan’s addicting lips.
If I’d known kissing him would be so great I would have done it already.
He placed his hand on my lower back and pulled me closer as I wrapped my hands around his neck tangling my fingers in his hair.
I know we both had wished the kiss never ended but being living beings we needed to breathe so we pulled back.
Our breaths were heavy and I was feeling light-headed already.
After a few moments Ryan spoke, “Sorry I shouldn’t have done that. See ya later and it’s better you stay away from me Lisa.”
Giving me a last peck he left.
Luckily I came to my senses and decided to stop him in time, “Ryan! Stop! You can’t just kiss me and go away! Pleas talk to me Ryan I’ve lost you once I don’t want to lose you again!”
“Lisa there’s something I can’t tell you. You won’t believe me anyways.” He said stopping for a moment.
The rain has stopped and the clouds had cleared.
“But then why did you kiss me? Why didn’t you think about all this before?!?!” I said hot tears running down my cheeks.
He kept quiet.
That silence tearing my heart into pieces.
“Fine be that way.” Saying this I turned on my heel and walked toward the bus stop.
Luckily my wallet was water proof so my money didn’t get wet.
I climbed on the bus and sat on the last seat.
Getting off on the first stop I walked toward my home with tear stained cheeks.
Opening the door I could understand from the silence that nobody was home.
Placing the keys on the center island in the kitchen, I walked up the stairs slightly relieved that nobody was home.
First thing I did after entering my home was take a relaxing shower.
Just as I had opened the tap to fill the tub my gaze fell on the razor blade kept on the sink.
Taking it in my hand I did something I had left doing for two years.
Just as I had the blade near my wrist, I stopped.
I couldn’t do this.
I can’t hurt the people who love me unknowingly.
I threw the blade away and had a bath trying to wash away all the memories of recent events.
Getting out after bathing I did my homework.
(A/N: Sorry guys for the interruption. Earlier I forgot to add the SONG OF THE CHAPTER: Mirrors by Justin Timberlake. Anyways back to the story.)
Just as I was about to attach my iPod in the dock my phone rang.
“Hello? This is Lisa speaking.” I said into the phone.
“Hello Lisa darling! It’s your nana speaking dear. I need you to come and meet me tomorrow. I need to tell you something important.” My nana spoke.
“Sure nana. I’ll come tomorrow in the afternoon.” I replied with a small smile on my face.
Just after ending the call I went to sleep.
-The next day at her nana’s house-
“Hey, dear come in. I need to speak to you about something before I leave for Venice tomorrow.”
I entered the house and after hugging nana, I sat on the couch exactly opposite her.
“Um, dear what do u think your parents were?” She asked.
“Mom was a doctor and Father was an artist?” I replied getting confused on this unusual subject.
“Well the truth is that-“ she was cut off by the phone’s ring.
Picking it up, she up the phone to her ear and spoke, “Yes? Oh yes. I’ll be right there. Hang on!”
“Lisa dear there is an emergency which I have to see too. You’ll find all that I had to tell you in this book. Keep it safe and follow the instructions inside. Share this coming adventure with three guys and one girl. You’ll need it.” She said this and placing an ancient looking book in my hand she ushered me out.
