"Alright, Liam I think you're getting closer" Zayn speaks into his ear piece. There had been mysterious activity in the upper Sckovian fields and Liam wanted to check it out. So he took his team and packed up for the mission. Zayn's still a little pissed though; Liam refused to take him with them. He doesn't understand why he has to stay in the labs with Harry. It's not like he hates it, but he much rather have action in his life. He loves the adrenaline. And there's another reason to him being pissed, he feels as if Liam's just toying with him, leading him on. Because it's been a month since they've been dating yet Liam still hasn't asked Zayn to be his boyfriend. It really sucks.

"Looks like there's tech here" Liam replies, his voices does make Zayn's heart race, he can't deny that.

"I could come and check it out fo-" Liam isn't letting Zayn finish.

"No, I'd be much more comfortable with you staying in the lab" Liam says. Zayn lets out an irritated sigh.

"Why? I am not a kid Liam, I can take care of myself" He argues, he can almost feel Liam rolling his eyes.

"I don't care what you think you are, you're staying outside the field that's an order" Zayn huff, who does Liam think he is? Ordering Zayn around when he's not even Zayn's boyfriend. Suddenly there's a noise entering his ear.

"Woah, what was that?" Zayn asks, refraining himself from swearing, because he knows how Liam feels about that.

"Nothing" Liam replies, Zayn glares at his computers, because Liam's not in front of him to glare at.

"That definitely was something alright, tell me!" Zayn demands, he feels Liam let out a sigh.

"Why don't you take me seriously?" Zayn says, almost sounding sad.

"What?"

"I asked; why do you not take me seriously?'' He says again, now with a little clout.

"Look Zayn, I'm on a mission right now, stop being so childis-" Liam tries, but Zayn abruptly cuts him off.

"Is that all I am to you? A young toy that you can play with and then throw away?" Zayn speaks, the pain very prominent in his voice.

"Come on Zayn, are you really going to make me have this conversation?" Liam whines, and that's when Zayn's had enough.

"You know what, Payne. I'm not making you have this conversation."

"Zay-" Liam's voice disappears because Zayn's cut the connection, he could care less about Liam now.

He turns around to see Harry standing at the door, obviously he saw everything that just happened.

"are you crying?'' Harry asks moving closer to Zayn, who's almost in tears.

"no" Zayn halfheartedly replies, Harry shakes his head.

"are you lying?" He asks again and this time Zayn buries his head into Harry's chest. He needs a hug and Harry gives the best hugs.

"yes"

"Where is he?" Liam's shouting, entering the lab with full force. He's worried about Zayn, they're conversation didn't end well and the guilt is eating him alive. He didn't think Zayn would take his precautions the wrong way. All he wanted was for Zayn to stay in the lab, so Liam could focus on the mission, if Zayn had tagged along, Liam wouldn't have been able to because he's be worrying for Zayn's safety the whole time. He doesn't see Zayn in the lab, only Harry who looks busy.
