Mission 5; Time to Investigate!

Mission 5; Time to Investigate!:

"What did he mean by the mission killing her?" Happy asked, flying by his companions who had slept the night on the uncomfortable ground. Natsu was glaring at the sky, in deep thought. Erza was looking straight ahead while Lucy looked miserbly down at her feet. Grey was looking at the side.

Erza sighed "We promised to get this mission through-"

"We're really going to kill her?!" Lucy gasped, stopping adruptly. The rest stopped as well.

"We promised to get rid of the demon, if Chihiro is the demon, we have to, no exceptions." Erza said emotionlessly.

"But-"

"Ah!" a small voice gasped. A firmilar dirty little orange head ran up to them and clapped her hands together, an expression of joy on her face "It's you guys again!"

They all, except for Natsu, looked at her as if she was a ghost. She tilted her head to the side in confusion. Then it seemed as if something hit her.

"..... Oh...... I get it...... You're going to leave too....." she said, still smiling but her eyes weren't. They were sad. She sighed and let her hands fall to her side "It's okay, everyone does eventually," She smilled at them with a sad smile.

Lucy couldn't help herself and stated patting the small, petite girl's head. "We're not leaving, we've only had one day together!" Chihiro looked at her hopfully.

"You mean it?!" her voice full of hope. Lucy nodded. In the excitment, Chihiro's hand reached out for Lucy's, to guide her through the forest but stopped erubtly when she noticed what she was doing and quickly retreated. She smiiled wearily and pointed deeper into the forest. "Le'ts go to where I live first, I think it will be more comfortable than here. he-he-he." 

Lucy looked at her confused but still followed. The others follwed close behind as the small girl made twists and turns. Ducking, diving, swirving, jumping, leaping and headbutting her way through many obsticles before reaching a clearing. A big one. On the side was the mountion from earlier, they had come up a mountion a little earlier, and there was a waterfall, a river flowing into the forest and dissapearing between the many trees, with a mill built to get energy. The houses were built with poles holding them up in the air up to ten to fiften feet high. Ontop of them was a big porches and many small houses made of all the same wood with grass and mud as the roofs shouldered next to each other.

Chihiro looked back at them with a proud look in her eyes before turning back to walking, knowing they were still there. She was obviously over joyed.

"This is the orphan village!" she explained, walking into the streets filled with children only ranging from thirteen to only two years old. One was even holding a week old child. Knowing they would be confused, she continued "Everyone here is orphaned. Meaning, they were abandoned, left behind, or their whole family died." she pointed to the week year old "His mother died in child birth and his father didn't want him. They were going to kill him but we got to him in time! The oldest of us is the chief but he is only 16 years old!"

She went up into a cabin that was obviously singled out with it being on it's own singular porch.

There was no door, in it's stead was a big, thick blanket that was sown together with great skill. It's vibrent reds, blues, greens and purples cheerfully were displayed in randomed shapes and forms, showing the person making it got bored easily.

Inside there was only one other room  which was quessed to be the bathroom. But the room itself was all rooms, except a bathroom, mashed together as easily as it could. There was a small built stone stove with burnt ashes laying in it's heart. A couch that would fit to five, convenintly, laid off to the side, under the only window which was exactly opposite of the 'door'. A painting canvis with bloobs of colored sat on the floor, leaning on the wall and there was stacks of books in one cornor. There was also a stack of floor sleeping bag like beds infront of the couch.
