Silence held onto the room like a mother holding her newborn child.

Everyone was moving, their curves clicking into one another like puzzle pieces.

Lights dazzled his eyes, making things go blurry one minute and clear the next.

Where is he?

Sound exploded into his ears and he stumble backwards as his stare was broken by a hormone enraged couple. Everything was moving and swaying. Moving to the lights and music. Everyone but him. He wanted to move but he did not want to lose sight of what he saw, of who he saw.

He started to be bumped and rocked back and forth as people's young body tried to press against his. He quickly slipped outside, not interested in what was inside. After a few minutes he heard the door open and close behind him.

"What the heck man, there was some girls who were asking for you." A tall, built young man stood behind him with a drunken furrowed brow.

"Robby, you know I didn't want to talk to them." He replied turning around to face his drunken friend. His friend shook his head and stumbled back into the club. "Whatever." He muttered as the door shut with a heavy thud. The night was already turning into morning and the air was heavy with dew. The man in his early 20, still enjoying his youth and trying to force himself into a lifestyle that the people around say him to be. His thoughts clung onto him like soft cobwebs, and he was scared that the spider would come back so he let them be. As if transported through time, he bumped into the door of his apartment, snapping out of his foggy state only to fumble with the key to open the door. The door swung open and he finally felt a wave of relief cradle him as he stumbled to his bed, curling up in his damp clothes, his eyelids heavy, his breathing slow. He stares at the blank wall and for a moment sees a pair of dark eyes looking back at him, he tries to say anything, something to know more about the eyes but his eyes fell shut.
