He pulled on his pants, one leg at a time. Walking over to the bed he kissed the head of a sleeping man. He turns back out on his heel and slowly opens the door, trying to be as silent as possible. "Leaving so soon..?" He cringed, hearing the voice of his one night stand. He quickly slipped through the door, not listening to the voice calling after him. Jogging down the steps and around the corner, he keeps going. Not looking back. That's something he has learned over the past few years, never look back because if you do that means you regret what you did, and he never regrets what he does. Feeling the cool mist on skin made him smile a bit, calming him to a peaceful blurry state. He started to wander, in mind and body. Farther and farther away he inched from town. Not so far off a train screamed, snapping him back into reality. His heart was beating quickly and he was gasping for air as if he just ran a marathon. He scratched his arms and looked around, a little confused. Deciding the best thing to do would be to go home and sort it out there instead of an unknown area, he started back towards the city. Only a few miles down and  a car fell into a crawl beside him on the road. Brown eyes fell on him, "Would you like a ride?". He nodded silently. His head scolded stranger danger,  like his mom always told him when he was a small boy, but he felt a sudden urge of security when looking into those eyes. Like he did hours before while the mist was cradling him in it's cool arms. He flopped into the passenger seat and looked at the floor. He thought about the man he kissed earlier and felt as if that moment was thousands of years away. "Good morning." The driver said, softly peeling his eyes from the road and to his new passenger.

"Good morning."
