A/N: I call the DR1 cast by their last name and the DR2 by their first. The exceptions are Sakura, Mukuro, Mondo, Leon, Komaeda, Chihiro, and Junko. Just wanted to let you know so you won't get confused as to why I call some of them by their first/last name.
Pairing: Maizono/Ibuki
Summary: After walking into the wrong classrooms four times, Maizono finally found someone who could show her around.
'I can't believe I went into the wrong classroom... Again.' Maizono thought, sighing as she sat underneath the tree. It was lunchtime, so the bluenette had went over to a tree outside where she could be alone and think to herself with no one bothering her.
It had been four days since the bluenette attended to Hope's Peak Academy and she still didn't know her way around. Maizono had walked into the wrong classrooms four times in a row. God, it was so embarrassing when she walked in the wrong classroom, realizing it was the wrong room before bowing in apology and quickly leaving the room.
She sighed again. The SHSL Idol wasn't exactly good with directions, even if she had a map with her. She really needed someone to show her around... Naegi seemed like a good choice to ask but she didn't want to bother him because of that. Besides, they were in different classes. Kirigiri was the next person she thought of but she was too... Quiet. Maizono felt a bit uncomfortable around her because of that, since she was more of an social girl.
... Yeah, there wasn't anyone to ask if they could help her to get to her classes. As Maizono wondered how she could go to the right classrooms on her own, someone went up to her.
"Are you Maizono Sayaka-chan? The girl Ibuki saw this morning?" She asked.
"Eh...?" Maizono looked at the unfamiliar girl. The girl's hair was quite unique, having 4 different colors and had two oni horns on top of her head. She wore the school's uniform and for some reason, she had six earrings on each of her ears and Maizono noticed that she also had 3 silver rings on her left hand. This girl also referred to herself in third-person, which was odd. Then again, there were many odd people in this school so she didn't question it.
She looked a bit older than herself, so she probably walked into a classroom full of upperclassmen from what the older girl asked her. Maizono nodded, laughing a bit nervously.
"Yeah, that's me. Sorry about that..." The girl laughed, waving her hand as if she was waving it off.
"It's fine! Some people do that sometimes! Oh, I forgot to introduce myself! Ahem, my name is..." Maizono was going to ask why she trailed off when...
"Mio! Da! I! Buki! Put it together and it's Mioda Ibuki! I'm in the 77th class, and Ibuki's the SHSL Musician!" The girl now known as Ibuki to Maizono grinned. Maizono giggled at Ibuki's introduction. It was unique, something she liked.
"As you already know senpai, I'm Maizono Sayaka. I'm in the 78th class and I'm the SHSL Idol. It seems like we have something we have in common."
"Maizono-chan and Ibuki both love music! I'm soooooooo stoked! Now Ibuki has someone to talk about music with!" Maizono smiled. She had to agree with Ibuki. There wasn't many people who liked music as she did in this academy.
"Very. Anyway, Mioda-senpai..."
"Just call me Ibuki!"
"Ibuki-senpai, I don't mean to be rude but why are you here? I'm sure you have other friends you hang out with." She tilted her head curiously, While it was nice that her upperclassmen had come talk to her, Maizono was sure that the older girl had something else to do. Ibuki thought about her question before smiling again.
"Oh yeah! I came here because I wanted to show you around the school! Ibuki tends to forget things quickly, so she forgot that she wanted to show you around. Sorry Maizono-chan!"
So that's why she wanted to talk to her. The bluenette blinked in surprise. While it was nice of her to show her around, Ibuki might have to show her around for a couple of days and she didn't want to bother her upperclassman because of that.
"A-ah, you don't have to Ibuki-senpai. I'm not really good at memorizing the whole school so easily, meaning that you might be late to classes because of that. I don't want to be the cause of you being late to class..."
"It's fine! Ibuki can show you around right now and if that's not enough, then she'll just run to her class!" The ravenette(?) gave Maizono an thumbs up, causing the bluenette to wonder if Ibuki was often late to her classes. She still wasn't sure about Ibuki being late but she wanted to help her, so maybe...
"Plus, people are starting to call you 'that-girl-who-goes-to-the-wrong-classrooms', which was how I knew your name by the way. Maizono-chan doesn't want that, right?" Yeah, she didn't want to be known as that, so she nodded.
"Great, then let's go!" Ibuki said excitedly, getting Maizono to stand up and dragged her off to the building.
As she dragged the bluenette into the building, Ibuki realized that she had no idea where to show Maizono first. Maybe she should ask for her schedule...
"Maizono-chan, can you show me your schedule? Ibuki needs it if she wants to show you around," The older girl asked, earning a nod from the bluenette as she took out her paper. Ibuki looked over it a few seconds before grinning.
"Great! Now Ibuki knows where to show you first! Let's go to the music room!"
"... Huh...?" She thought that Ibuki was going to show her to her classes, not the music room. Before she could protest, the older girl began to drag her to the said room.
-----------
Somehow Ibuki had gotten her into singing a couple of songs for the rest of their lunch break, which was why they didn't notice the time and ended up being late. Right now they stood in front of Maizono's class, panting. At least she was at the right class this time, Maizono thought to herself. Ibuki gave her an apologetic look.
"Ibuki's sorry that she didn't show you around the school and got you late. I promise that I'll show you around tomorrow! Right now she needs to go to her class!" Ibuki started to run again. Wait, where were they going to meet then?
"Wait, how are we going to meet up?" The ravenette looked back at her, still running.
"We'll meet at that tree again during break!" And before Maizono could ask anything else, she disappeared.
... She smiled to herself. Maizono looked forward to seeing Ibuki tomorrow. But for now, she needed to head inside her class.
