Chapter 9

Lola P.O.V

It was finally Saturday, the week went. I had time to fully process what happened between me and my mother, it hurts me to know that my biological mother didn't even care about me, she did not even try to contact me.

I was lying on my bed when there was a knock on the door. "Come in."

"Morning beautiful." August said walking in and sitting on my bed.

"Hey." I said, making space for him to sit properly.

"So I was thinking since it's a Saturday and am sure you aint got plans, we can go to the mall to do some shopping, that's if you don't mind." He said.

"Of course not, I am going to shower then we can leave." I said standing but he pulled me back.

"Not too fast ma, how about we chill for some time then we can leave." He said making me sit next to him. He slowly moved his face closer to mine and before I knew it our lips were touching and we were kissing, he placed me on top of him and we were now lying on the bed, my heart started to beat very fast. He slowly grinded on me. I softly bit his lip, moaning.

*Knock knock*

"Niggaaaa" Craig screamed.

"Ugh" August groaned, he kissed me one last time and stood up.

August P.O.V

"Bruh tf do you want?" I asked pissed.

"Dawg chill, I came by to collect my shii but you weren't in your room and Selena told me you might be in here. Ohhh" He started smirking. "Did I interrupt something?" He whispered.

"Nigga fuck outta here." I came out of the room and closed the door. "You know exactly where your things are so why you gotta bother me?" I asked walking down the stairs

"Where you hitting it?" He smirked

"Nah, that wasn't even on my mind, was just having a good time with my girl un-"

"Did you just say your girl?" He asked so loud, I swear him and Jade suit each other.

"Lower your voice. Well soon she'll be my girl so I could as well get used to it." I said rolling my eyes

"Awe yung, well let me get my shit and bounce so you can spend time with your "girl"." He laughed and made his way to the studio to get his things.

"August." Selena called out as I was walking up the stairs.

"You didn't tell me who the girl was." She said, Selena is like my mother; she has always looked out for me and made sure I stayed out of trouble.

"Well you will find out soon, don't stress about it" I said making my way to Lola's room. I didn't see her on the bed but I heard the shower running so I knew she was in the bathroom. I had already showered so I was just waiting on her.

I made my way to the living room to watch TV but my phone started to ring. I answered without looking at the caller ID

Me: Sup?

Jade: Hey August, It's Jade, I have been trying to call Lola but she aint picking up. Is she okay?

Me: Yeah she is in the shower. I can go check for you if she is done.

Jade: Please do.

I walked up to her room, knocking first incase she was dressing up.

"Come in" She said. I walked in and she was tying her shoe lace, "Jade is on the phone, she has been trying to get hold of you." I said giving her my phone

Lola: Hey Jade, sorry I was in the shower and my phone was on silent

Jade: It's cool bae, I wanted to know if you have plans, because I would like you to go with me to my aunt's place.

I quickly took the phone from Lola so she doesn't agree to going since we already have somewhere to go.

Me: Sorry Jade, but she already booked

Jade: I see you already stealing my best friend from me but cool, catch y'all later. Bye

"You look beautifully ma, as always" I said, moving closer to her and wrapping my arms around her waist.

"Thank you" she said blushing, "I guess we good to go"

"Yeah let's go" We made our way to the car

Lola P.O.V

We have been shopping for about two hours now and I am so exhausted. We first went to Adidas to buy August some new pair of kicks, I decided to finally invest in my own make up kit so we went to Walgreens, Sephora and Mac and then we went to a few other storess to buy clothes and groceries. We made our way to Burger king.

"You can sit right here, I will go order." He said pulling the chair for me to sit "What do you want?"

"Flame grilled chicken burger, large French fry and an Oreo shake. Thanks." He smiled and made his way to the till.

I was sitting when I heard my name. I turned around and it was Liam, my little brother.

"Lola" He said with a huge grin running towards me.

"Liam." I hugged him so tight, although he was a brat and quite annoying I loved him a lot. "I missed you so bad." I said

"Me too. Mommy said you ran away from home and said you wanted nothing to do with us anymore." He said looking sad

"It's a long story Liam, you wouldn't understand but trust me I would never leave you, by the way where is mommy?" I asked slightly rolling my eyes

"She is at the spa, she told me to come get a milkshake." He said showing me his money.

"You know what keep your money; I will buy for you, Okay?" I said smiling at him

"How are you getting money without mommy and where do you stay? Are you safe?" I laughed at his worried expression

"Don't worry about that." I smiled, patting the sit next to me "sit"

August made his way to the table and I could tell he was confused. He placed the food on the table and raised his eyebrows before sitting

"August, this is my brother Liam and Liam, this is August." I said

"Oh you never told me you had a brother, how's you little man?" He smiled at him

"Am good, I saw you on my friend's phone, you a singer." I laughed surprised that my little brother actually identified him and there first time I met him I didn't even know who he was.

"Yes, you smart" August said laughing "So what you doing here all by yourself?"

"My mommy is at the spa, I came here to buy a shake." I could see August was tensed when he mentioned my mother

"As if I knew, I bought an extra shake" He said handing him the shake.

"Liam! What the hell are you doing with these people?" My mother walked in so furious grabbing him by his arm, he groaned in pain.

"Mama you hurting him." I said softly as I saw people's eyes on us.

"Don't you dare talk to me you lil whore. Don't you dare touch my son or come close to him." She mugged me. August stood up and moved close to her face

"Don't you dare talk to her like that, do you hear me?" He asked, his hands in a fist

"August." I pulled him back. "I know you wouldn't touch a female, beside she isn't worth it, just leave her." I whispered.

She grabbed the milkshake and threw it on me and walked away. "Fuck" I mumbled with tears in my eyes. August was so red in his face and looked like he was about to explode.

He packed the food placed it in the trolley. "Let's get the fuck outta here" he said pushing the trolley to the car.
