On the Way to the Party
Lauren's POV

"YOU A BAD GIRL AND YO FRIEND'S BAD TOO!" Normani and Dinah had taken the front seats of the car and had been singing the same song over and over for the last ten minutes. The radio wasn't even on.

"Dinah turn left!" I shouted frantically.

"Okay, girl, chill!" she answered, laughing a little as she pulled into Siope's driveway.

We hopped out of the car and Ally linked arms with Camila as we made our way to the front door. "You'll be fine, Mila." She told her. "You don't even have to drink."

Their eyes met and I watched them as discretely as possible. "Will you?" Camila asked.

Ally shrugged. "I might."

"Okay..." Camila looked back down at the ground. "...but not too much; promise?" Ally nodded and giggled when the other girl stuck out her little finger.

"I promise, baby." She said as they shook pinkies. Mila smiled at her girlfriend and kissed her cheek as we all walked inside the house.

Normani was still blocking us out and no one would tell Ally why she was so angry. I wondered why Ally hadn't thought about asking Camila. But, I realized that it wasn't really an option. She seemed very nervous about the party and Ally probably didn't want to make it any worse for her.

About Halfway Through the Party
Camila's POV

I was sitting at one of the kitchen barstools, staring at the drink in front of me that was supposedly lemonade. Lauren slid into the seat next to me, placed her elbow on the counter, and rested her head on her hand. "Hey, beautiful."

I turned to face her and noticed that she had a weird look in her eyes. The same look that nearly everybody at the party wore, and they all seemed pretty proud of it. She was drunk. "Hey, Lauren..." I answer nervously.

"What are you sitting here alone for?" She asked, tracing random patterns on my arm with her fingertips.

"Uh, A-Ally when to the bathroom..."

She nodded, But didn't seem very interested. "So, Camz," She starts, emphasizing my new nickname. "I was thinking...maybe we could get to know each other better?" I stared at her, not knowing what to say. Before I could react, she grabbed my arm, pulling me forward and smashing our lips together.

Normani's POV

I watched, silently sipping my drink, as Camila and Lauren kissed. They couldn't get away with this any longer. Ally was supposed to be mine. This situation was living proof. To a random bystander, I probably looked somewhat like a stalker. I was standing pretty close to the bathroom that I had seen Ally go in a few minutes ago, ready to show her what the secret was, the second she stepped out. She deserved to know. I promised that I wouldn't tell her, but I never promised that I wouldn't show her.

"Hey, Mani," she greets me. Without a word, a grabbed her hand and led her to the area where I was previously standing. She gasped when she saw her girlfriend, who was still lip-locked with one of our "trustworthy" roommates. I let go of Ally's hand. "I wouldn't hurt you like that." I tell her before turning around and walking away.

Dinah's POV

I was dancing with Siope and his friends for most of the time so I was one of the few people at the party that wasn't completely wasted. Ally came up to me in tears before dragging me over to a corner. "C-can you...can you ask L-Lauren for the k-keys?" She stutters.

"Ally, what in the world happened to you?!" I ask.

"I..." she took a deep breath, attempting to calm herself down. "I don't wanna talk about it."

"Why can't you ask her yourself?"

"She...her and...Camila..."

"Oh," I say, finally realizing what she meant. "You found out?"

She nodded. "They were kissing..."

"Okay, I'll go ask her." I tell my friend, giving her a quick hug.

She nodded again. "I'll be outside."

"Okay..wait! It's almost midnight; there's a Target across the street, you can just wait there." she nodded for the last time before disappearing into the crowd.

Ally's POV

I felt like the world was spinning. I couldn't believe that I couldn't even trust the first girlfriend I'd ever had. I was always taught to follow everything the bible said to do. This was the first time I had done something completely out of my comfort zone, and it barely lasted for three weeks. The alcohol was already making me dizzy, but trying to process what had just happened made it worse. In all the confusion, I didn't realize that the stoplight hadn't turned yet. That the cars were still going at sixty miles an hour on the street in front of me. That walking was a horrible idea in the dark, especially in heels. Maybe if I wasn't intoxicated I wouldn't have stepped into the street that night. Maybe I would've heard the screams of protest and felt a hand trying to pull me back. But I didn't. I wish I did.
