Day Seven: Grievance

(Delirious)

We rapped David up in a blanket and took him outside. Everyone was outside too. The hole was really deep and everyone was sad. Meg was crying in Jodi's arms. And Tyler and I buried David. Meg said her goodbyes before we buried him so she went inside the bus. She didn't want to watch as the man she loved was buried under six feet of earth. I then looked up at Tyler. "God Damn." He said. His voice was shaking. He looked like he was going to cry. He shook his head.

Then we all one by one got back on the bus. I turned to Dean and Brian. I pulled Brian out of his seat. He tried to com back at me but Tyler and Evan held him back. He began yelling. Tyler took off his shoe and shoved his sock into Brian's mouth to shut him up. "What?" The kid said with a little additude. "Who are they." I said. "The men who came on the bus?" He shot back. "No Shit Sherlock. Who are they?" Dean turned to me. "THEIR ASSHOLES CAN WE LEAVE IT AT THAT?!" He yelled at me. I glared at him. "No. What are they? And why are they after you?" Moo started to drive again. Dean looked out the window at the passing scenery. "I was with them since this started. Me and my brother... they saved us. And they were nice. Were nice. But soon they turned malicious and mean. They killed my brother." He looked back at me. "I took everything I could carry and left the same night. I guess they've been following me ever since. And I was too stupid to realize. This is all my god damn fault." He said pulling g his head in his hands. I pulled his head up "Kid. It ain't you fault. It's their fault. They pulled the trigger on Daithi. Not you." I stood up and walked over to Moo "Pull Over." I said. He nodded and pulled over.  Got out and went to Lui who was in his truck. There were Two motorcycles in the back. Jodi hopped out the bus and followed. "Me and Jodi will drive ahead. Lui your gonna stay in back like you have. And the bus will be in between." Lui nodded. I told my plan to Mo and Evan as well. Before me and Jodi got on our bike I had everyone join us in the bus. "Shit has happened and it sucks. It really does. And I realized that I've been hiding behind a crutch. Something that I have been using to keep me attached to the old times. But I don't need it anymore. I'm not afraid anymore." I pulled my mask off my face and threw it at Dean. He caught it and looked up. His eyes went wide. "Holy Shit." Was all he could say. "God Damn Delirious. Your Fucking Hot. I would turn gay if I didn't have a girlfriend in the back." Tyler said jokingly. "Nah It would more likely to be Evan to turn gay for that shit." Brian said. Everyone laughed. but me. "Come on guys really?" Evan said. They shut up. I nodded and everyone got to where they needed to be. Me and Jodi got on our bikes and started to drive.

"Jonathan...." Jodi said as we rode. "Yeah?" "I... have something to tell you."

Then. Everything went black.

"Where did they go? Why did they dive so far ahead?!" Tyler yelled after we lost sight of Jodi and Jonathan. I picked up my radio "Jodi. Del come in? Do you copy?" No response. Then... we rounded the corner. Their bikes were on the side of the road. And there was blood on on of them. I think it was Del's bike that was covered in blood. H must have gotten hurt. Moo pulled the bus over. "Moo. There was a motel about a half a mile back that way. Why don't you set up base there while me Tyler and Lui search for Delirious and Jodi." Moo nodded and left. Then We went into the woods. Hoping to find some sign of the two.
