Chapter One A Cold Day in Gotham City

'It was midnight in Gotham City, it was then not far away in an icy cave, Mr. Freeze had walked into his icy lab, where a cryogenic tank held his dying wife, Nora. While he frantically searched for a way to cure her. '

"Yet another failed attempt, but don't you fret, someday, somewhere in time, we will be reunited, my love. It won't be long before you're back in my arms again." Mr. Freeze said, caressing the glass, shedding a frozen crystallized tear

'When he wasn't finding a cure for his wife's disease or terrorizing Gotham City, Mr. Freeze barely left Nora's side, knowing it would bring the frosty hearted villain hope that one day Nora would be cured..'

"It will be soon, that I will find a cure, and we can start life anew." Mr. Freeze said, looking at his wife through the glass.

'There I lay, Nora Fries, my long red hair flowing in as I floated in containment, placed in a cryogenic sleep, Mr. Freeze was originally known as Dr. Victor Fries, but became the icy cold villain when he fell in the cryogenic fluids..'

"Soon, we will be together, I can run my fingers through your beautiful red hair, hold you in my arms again, my sweet Nora." Mr. Freeze said, stroking the containment chamber looking at me, floating peacefully in a cryogenic state

"Rest peacefully, I'll be back first thing in the morning." Mr. Freeze said

'He had taken another look at me, before locking the room up for the night. He had then retired to his chamber, taking a look at the photo of our wedding, and then slowly said one word before charging himself for the night..'

"Nora... I would freeze the entire world in order for you to come back to me." Mr. Freeze said, turning to face the wall another frozen tear falling down his face...
