Trick Me Once, Trick Me Twice

I danced back to the playground where we were standing with grand news. One which will make me centres of attention and will finally capture my obstreperous friends, for once. I knew that once Laura found out that Jeremiah is back into our lives she'll remember. Our feud only felt like yesterday and how he possessed us into his charm. As soon as I told them they all were jaw-locked especially Laura's just how I suspected.

"What do you mean he's back, for good?"

"Yes, defiantly I was talking to him as he let me into the building." You could see the vagaries of Laura, at first she was all calm and relaxed then suddenly she was trying to control her hands as if her fingers were out of control and an expression I couldn't quite figure out showed on her face. I knew falling for Jeremiah was going to be a bad idea also rivalry with Laura another bad idea.

Just stay away from him, it's not that hard, I kept instructing myself but it was very hard to when he appeared in most of my lessons.

I began to drift off in science class; I was full of boredom when all of a sudden a spike pricks me in my back I wakened fast. Still trying to realise what hit me I stretch and turn around, it was Jeremiah, I really didn't know how to respond to his eager eyes as I was perceived as clubbable to many but Jeremiah hasn't seen this side yet which made me somehow more confident. Carefully I grab the note he threw at me and uncurled it. The note read:

I missed you, perhaps we could meet up sometime soon and possibly Laura too?

My heart pumped a million beats per minute, I couldn't get caught up in his games again but he's trying to play it off by inviting Laura, is it bad that I don't want Laura to come, am I jealous?

Yeah that sounds cool. When and where?

Can you make 7pm tonight cinema tonight?

That was the end of our not passing session, I almost became like a typical teenager hysteric with giggles and smiles creeping up on face with boys interested in me. I was typical, he wasn't interested and I knew he was drawing me in again, at least now I've got Laura and we're closer than ever.

At 7pm where Jeremiah wanted to meet Laura and I were there having a blithesome conversation whilst a figure appeared from distance. The strong muscly figure came closer and less vague the more time passed, it was him. My heart was pumping and I could tell Laura's was too it was the first time Laura saw him since a couple years. I knew this wasn't to go as I planned or daydreamed in my mind.

"So how was it? Did it get awkward or intense?" Charlotte's face lit with excitement. She always got joyed with hearing gossip sometimes even a bit too overjoyed, she wanted to hear everything and that's nearly what she got we just left out some little bits such as when he had to leave the cinema unexpectedly. He left Laura and me with our hearts sobbing in agonising pain. As soon as he left he took my heart with him the arteries still attached pulling away tormenting me, this information Charlotte doesn't need to know about.

Laura's expression was still very confused and she was nearly biting her lip off as if worried, I knew it was about Jeremiah she was falling in love. There was only one solution.
