Do you ever get that feeling when it's coming around your birthday and feel almost sick to your stomach and the butterflies are let loose? Yep, it's that time for me again I was turning 16. I wasn't fussed at all about a super sweet sixteen; in all honesty I'm not fussed about most in general. I don't get much and have adapted to the teen life as much as I can. However, I hate the cringy type sorry if I go a bit too stereotypical here. The ones which obsess about their beauty try so hard on their personality that they just turn out fake...
Instead of being that cringe teenager I'm more like the quite girl who sits quietly at her desk completing every sheet given to her and more. The worst idea in the world, being in my position is having a party, the top thing any teenager would die for. You know the event which people get absolutely wasted at and do crazy things which they do not remember. Even worse idea! When you're the drunk one trying to figure out what happened to when by accident you got so wasted you can't remember half the night.
I still can't believe I did it.
It all started off with my friend Erin. You know Erin, my gorgeous blonde and tanned skinned friend which had a party with my other friend Erin? Also, if you're thinking what happened with Joey and me, it didn't end well at all! Joey is an immature boy who doesn't think of any other than himself. After the party he went for Charlotte but in the end as every guy eventually does, he left us high and dry. I never actually think about Joey Latner anymore especially in that way I look at someone else but it'd never be anything more than a petty school girl.
His name is Ely jones. He's one of them popular boys, pretty much the royalty of the school going round with a crown ready made on his head showing everyone he's untouchable, especially with his girlfriend by his side all the time almost like a puppy dog following every demand Ely has and will do anything, he gets like that. Everyone knows that Ely can do what he wants and no one can do anything about it because he doesn't care and no matter what he will always win, I guess you could call him paramount. That's probably why he's still got Karen attached to him non-stop. Although she can make me boil with jealousy, main reason being she's one of the most popular girls in the year and I hate the way her long light brown hair sweeps past her shoulders and smooth skin trials her body especially on her skinny structured legs whereas I'm just plain and boring as he sees, he may be very finicky with who he's with.
At school, especially in maths, I turn around to talk to my friends Lucy and Antonia where sometimes I'll catch him glancing at me, if what staring it's kind of funny as he's so not subtle. But he really confuses me I have no idea if he's actually look at me or maybe just accidently staring. Sometimes I wonder if he ever likes me or even if it's possible, then I just laugh in my mind as how can someone like Ely Jones ever like someone like me. However, I just took affinity to the thought of him actually liking me or if he's actually looking at me. I felt myself developing a little crush but I knew I'd never get my happy ending.
