Cleo's POV
Cole was their father and he accepted it. I felt like my world was finally perfect and that everything would be alright again. I would finally have the perfect family that I always dreamed of. Or rather for the past 8 months dreamed of.
" okay so you are going to almost die bad then have your children without telling me. Wow what a great friend you are." Morgan ranted walking in. I turned around to hug my best friend.
" I'm sorry next time I'll tell you." I said sarcastically.
" please have there not be a next time." Cole begged and I laughed.
" so little miss Lucky over here gets to have her children before me! Can you believe that!" Morgan said jealously.
" Morgan Jordan and Jackson will be here before you know it and now you get to help me shop for baby stuff." I squealed.
" okay I'm fine now let's go." Morgan said and I was ready but Cole stopped me.
" no you are suppose to wait until your stronger." He informed.
" what are you talking about I fell fine." I yelled but he remained firm. I rolled my eyes but winked at Morgan. She left and k waited for Cole to get a phone call. It was 10 minutes. He answered and looked confused. He shut it if immediately.
" Cleo I will be at the police station there is some mix up there." He said and rushed out. Seconds later Morgan appeared.
" ready" she asked and I nodded.
" let me just check me and the twins out." I said and checked out at the secretary.
" okay now I'm ready." I said and we set out for stuff for our children.
Cole's POV
I barged through the police station doors and stared down three young police officers. I waked up to the chief who I had been talking to on the phone.
" what do you mean she had to be paired up again she nearly died and now she wants to be with me and you are making her be with someone else!" I yelled at the chief.
" I'm sorry sir it is the law so that things don't get hectic here." He replied stiffly. I threw my arms in the air and walked out on them. They were ridiculous and this was not going down here, it was going down in the government. I had just killed a man to keep Cleo safe and I was willing to do much worse to be with her.
