Part 24

Cole's POV
I didn't want to leave Cleo but I wasn't going to disobey her either. I fed the twins some food that I don't think I should have fed them and rushed back to the hospital.
" What do you mean I can't see her right now?" I yelled at the lady and she looked at the computer.
" it says that she isn't having visitors right now I'm sorry there is nothing I can do about it." The lady said and I slumped back in my Cajun with the twins fighting over a toy that was in the waiting room. Morgan walked in with Jordan, Jackson and her fiancé Mavin.
" Where is she." Morgan demanded and I shrugged.
" She is up but not taking visitors right now, probably some scan on the baby." I said and her mouth dropped.
" YOU NEVER TOLD ME SHE WAS PREGNANT!!!!" Morgan yelled and everyone shushed her.Her cheeks got bright red before she continued to lecture me.
" First of all this is the second time she has had her baby and not even told me, she died and she didn't even tell me god I'm starting to doubt this friendship." Morgan said with a humph. Mavin mouthed hormones to me and I laughed.
" it's not her fault Morgan that she had been in a coma for 9 moths which is the whole pregnancy and I'm sorry next time she dies I make sure to bring her back to tell you." I sad and Mavin yelled burn. Morgan have him a annoyed smile but I knew it was nothing that was the only reason they had ever fallen in love, they were both very immature. The twins both started to play with Morgan's kids and I kept waiting. Part of me worried that Cleo had died but the rest of me knew she was to strong for that now. After 2 hours of waiting I had gotten up the use that barroom when the nurse stopped me.
" Your wife wants you." She said and I smiled. I didn't even correct her. I walked in and Cleo was holding a little baby, she had her baby!
" Cole isn't he perfect." She said and I looked at him.
" Perfect, is he a twin?" I asked remembering the shot.
"No he is a triplet, the two girls are getting a DNA test so I know who's children they are, I am testing him next." Cleo said and I was instantly mad.
"Cleo you had your babies before I was back, wait is that why you sent me away!" I yelled and she nodded.
" I couldn't have the twins in here and they couldn't be by themselves." She said and kept holding her baby. She kept watching him like afraid he would cry or die rather.
" Cleo is he okay?" I asked and she shook her head.
"No he isn't, he is blind. Cole I failed didn't I! I should have taken better care. I shouldn't have been in the coma I should have protected him." Cleo sobbed and I looked at her. She was blaming herself for something that she couldn't have stopped. I got an idea then and I kissed her.
"I'll be right back." I promised and walked out. I was going to make her better, she would cry no more.
