I leaned back on my chair. Jennifer was telling me that story again, the one about how her and Malcolm first met. I must have heard it over a thousand times before. I took another sip of my scalding coffee and peered around the room. We were sitting inside our usual café in our usual spot. We've always come here every Saturday since I can remember and have always ordered the same thing, one regular coffee with an extra shot of espresso and one mocha with an extra dash of chocolate.
"One week to go!" She cried. "I bet you're as excited as I am, we've dreamed about our weddings since we were little and now I'm finally taking the plunge".
"Yeah," I sighed, trying to sound as convincing as I could.
I wasn't excited though, I've been her best friend since we were little but I've always wanted to be more than that. To her I'm just Dylan

I've been on wattpad for what seems like ages now, but I've finally plucked up the courage to write my own story. Sorry that its only short, I'll try and make it longer in future chapters.
