" I'm ready," she cried.

The curtain swung open and revealed Jennifer standing there in her wedding dress, she looked beautiful. Her dark treacle hair fell smoothly onto her perfectly sculpted shoulders, her lips redder than a freshly picked apple and her eyes shimmering bluer than the ocean.

"What do you think? Is it too much?" She rambled.

"You look perfect," I sighed.

It breaks my heart seeing her like this. Its not that I don't like seeing her happy, because trust me I do, its just that as each day comes and goes the day of her wedding gets ever closer. I just don't know what I'll do then. Will I be able to witness the love of my life getting married to some other guy? A man that's not right for her, a man that wont treat her as right as I would. When the day does come I know that any hopes of us ever being together will be very slim, maybe even non-existent. Oh I just wish that I knew what to do.

"Will Malcolm like?" Jennifer says, snapping me out of my inner thoughts.

" Urm...yeah he'll love it," I quickly say because I know he will.

"That will be nine hundred pound," said the shop assistant.

Jennifer got out her card and paid.

"By the way you two make a lovely couple," chirped the shop assistant.

"Thanks but we're not together," Jenny spoke, lifting her head up with a shy smile.

" Oh sorry I just thought..."

"It's fine, we're just good friends."

There she is again, just good friends. Will we ever be more than that? The only way to find out is to tell her the truth, own up and tell her how I feel. But I cant though, can I? It might wreck our friendship, or at the very least make it awkward. I'll just have to think about it.

Woo chapter two! I hope that its an okay chapter, I tried to make it a bit longer but its not going to be a very long story (well I don't think it will be), so there's only so much I can write in a chapter.
