"Hello? Earth to Katie. Are you okay?" I saw Sophia's hand waving over my face. "Hey Katie are you okay? You're eyes are like super watery." She reached into her purse and pulled out a tissue. "Here, take it." She handed me the tissue and I wiped my eyes. "I'm fine. Don't worry Sophia." She tried to hug me and I stiffened up and backed away slightly. "Katie please let me hug you. I know something's up. Ever since you moved here you've been the quiet girl, so shy but I know you. Something's changed. You know I love you Katie you can trust me." "I know I can Sophia but right now isn't the time. Just I need to go. I'll see you tomorrow." "Do you want me to give you a ride home Katie?" I shook my head. "I think I'm gonna walk this one out, need to think and give the old tunes a listen." "Alright then Katie. I love you girl I'll see you tomorrow." She tried to hug me again and this time a let her but still went slightly stiff. I turned the other way and started walking the road home. I pressed shuffle on my playlist and then instantly Meg and Dia's song "Monster" came on. I felt the small tears running down my face as the lyrics started playing and I felt the pain of the song in my mind.
