Chapter 27: Fights

We entered the creature house and were immediately greeted by Courtney and Seamus in party hats. I hugged Courtney and she gave me a welcoming smile and I then hugged Seamus.

"wow you actually let me hug you!" I squealed hugging him tighter

"yeah and I know regret that decision" I rolled my eyes letting out of the hug. He chuckled ad I paced around the room and we all talked. Dan was already on the computer working on the videos we recorded.

I hummed a song my feet brushing the ground. Brooke held onto sly's neck as she sat there on his lap giggling. He was laughing with her every once in a while whispering something in her ear.

I would once in a while glance at aleks who always had his attention on me finally when it got late I stood up brushing my pants off.

"well I bet be off, see you guys tomorrow?" they all nodded but aleks stood up. "hey can we talk at your place?" I nodded as we walked outside he lead me to my truck and I quickly got inside and he got in the driver's seat. I was very confused but he then roared the engine to life and the radio kicked on.

The radio roared as the bonnie chick sung. I tapped my foot to the beat as I simply hummed the tune. Aleks looked at me with a smile as he continued driving I grabbed his hand as he continued driving with one hand.

I swung his hand in mine along to the song.

Eventually we parked at my apartment building and we unbuckled and I dropped out of the truck closing my door. He quickly got out and great, it started to rain.

Why the hell is it raining all the damn time?!?

Wait, something bads gonna happen.. Isn't it. I groaned as we slowly went to the elevator and it jerked to a start.

I closed my eyes humming with my hands clasped together behind me. I kept humming till the elevator dinged signaling it was at my floor. The rusty doors that seriously could use some WD40 opened leaving a screech as they spread. We walked through and my dark hallway glowed with lights from the doors of my neighbors.

It was getting pretty late. Thus, I was pretty wiped. I jogged to my door pulling my keys out in the process. I could hear the faint drops of rain hit the ceiling ad I fumbled my keys unlocking the door eventually. I pushed the door open and held it open as aleks walked through after I shut it he grabbed my hand pulling me onto my couch with a chuckle.

I gasped as I hit the couch next to him finally I began to giggle as his expression never changed. I threw my head back glancing at the ceiling above as he continued to grin at me. I finally lowered my head as he smiled gently at me.

I turned my head and looked at the currently off tv as he reached over moving a loose strand of hair and put it behind my ear but in front of my glasses.

I turned to him with a grin as we sat there awkwardly. We didn't know what other expressions to do in front of each other except, smile. It's really awkward but it's all we knew how to do. The rain continued and me and aleks sat there on my couch starring at each other. I finally stood up and started to say good night before I was quickly interrupted by Brooke slamming my door open.

She was crying something was wrong. She ran in and passed me into my room, sly was behind her with a worried expression but hurt and guilt covering it 98%.

I looked sly as he walked in drenched from the rain.

I pointed to my room quickly pausing them two in there steps.

"I'll go check her, you two talk. Now." I ran off to my room hearing her sobs grow louder as I walked in. I closed my door quickly leaning my back against it. She looked up from her spot on my bed as her eyes were red and puffy.
