It was the wedding day, wedding bells were ringing birds were singing rose petals were being thrown across the white belt of velvet carpet laid on the floor of soft green grass. Lacey ended her route as I sat in the third row of the grooms side, Her sides family was not the I guess you can say Country as they all had there legs crossed even the men. I mean like aleks was bent over his hands folded together as he sat there focusing on the floor.

"when does this start?" he groaned. "When my parents get here" I whispered. Right as on cue my parents stepped inside taking, their reserved seats. Right then the music started, I then noticed, that's dad and his new wife whatever her name was, where's mom?

I threw my head up and looked at the ceiling as my dress was hard to keep up while sitting. I pulled the top up and looked at the door as people appeared, the bridesmaids and best men appeared one by one walking there arms linked.

Step, by step they moved to the music and parted at the end of the aisle walking either sides of the altar.

Finally there came Karsen, he folded his hands as he ended at the end and looked at me and gave him a thumbs up as he softly smiled at me I l

ooked around and I could feels eyes burning into the side of my head. I turned and saw I guess her mother giving me a wicked glare.

"here comes the bride, all dress in white.." aleks mumbled as I noticed his soon to be wife walking down the aisle with her fathers arm connected with hers. When they parted she stood in front of him and they connected hands.

-

"Karsen James Carter do you promise to love her till death do you part?" he looked around and then at her and smiled. "I do" my whole face lit up. My older brother was just about to hit 100% in man hood.

The priest smiled as he asked the same question once more.

"Kirsten holly Sanders, do you take him to be you lawfully wedded husband till death do you part?" she nodded with a smile. "I do" the priest closed his book with one hand setting it on the post.

"I must now pronounce you, husband, and wife. You may kiss the bride"

Karsen dipped her into a tight embrace and mashed his lips to hers he pulled her up and there lips parted. I stood up and clapped like everyone else. They walked hand and hand down the aisle and I nudged Karsen on his way out and he chuckled.

Kirsten's mother glared at me once more as we all piled out into the reception room that was nearby.

"Oh Mrs. Carter please you and your guests come sit here, the groom has reserved a table for you. I nodded and followed him holding aleks hand. Quickly after that more people poured into the white dance hall. People, hand and hand moved around the hall twirling and dancing ad music hummed.

I had to congratulate them it's something needed.

I stood up tapping my glass causing all attention on me.

"Ok I would just like to say, congratulations to the newly weds when I first met Kirsten I could tell they were going to get far, and I could easily see how much Karsen loved her and when I was told he proposed you don't understand how happy I was I couldn't help but scream. I knew you two would get here and I hope you have more happy years to come I love you both" everyone clapped and the music returned and I took my seat.

Karsen walked over and hugged me tightly and I hugged him back. "You don't know how proud of you I am" I whispered as he chuckled. "You don't know how proud I am of you either sis" he gave me one more tight squeeze before returning, back to his seat. The rest of the reception was fun and loud until Karsen and Kirsten took,a stand in the middle.
