~Kayd's POV (training center)
Practicing is becoming even more intense around here. It seems like Luna and Artemis are pushing us to the very limit with all these amped up flying and combat tests. It is taking some getting used to all this power it's almost like we all went from a level one to level hundred in a split second. Jaxon's seems back and better than ever after getting all his memories back. It's all thanks to him that we all have a chance to change the world again. It's so strange that even our transform pens changed. Now they have a gold star with my Mars symbol in the center and a slightly more elegant design.
"Hey Kayd!" Jax said jumping on my back causing me to fall forward onto the floor.
"Geeze Ja-" I started to say before he glued his lips to mine intensely.
"Get a room you two. God." Sara Scoffed.
"Jax. Calm down. What's up with you?" I asked pulling away.
"I just really missed you that's all." He said. There's something off about him. I just can't pinpoint what it is. He jumped off of me and walked over to Leo and Crew who were in mid combat.
"Hey I fight the winner." He stated. The air became strangely thick as everyone looked towards him in confusion. He doesn't fight he can't even kill a fly.
"You okay, Jax? Your not acting right." I said starting up and walking towards him. He seemed to tense up as I got closer.
"Hey it's all good. Maybe he just had a change of heart. I'll spar with you." Crew said with a laugh. Despite his humorous gesture everyone is still uneasy. Even Luna and Artemis look concerned.
"Let's do it. MOON STAR POWER!" After he finished transforming he instantly flew at Crew throwing him into the floor. His moves were swift and his face expressionless.
"Nice one. URANUS SEDIMENTAL SPHERE!" A huge ball of rock and sand flew at Jax, but he easily shattered it with one kick.
"MOON STAR ANNIHILATION!" Jax screamed. A mass of heavy energy flew from his body and pounded against Crew. All I could hear was his screaming for Jax to stop. His screaming is giving me chills.
"JAXON STOP NOW!" I screamed with no answer from him. Everyone else joining in.
"Someone stop him!" Luna shrieked, and I made a split second decision despite my whole body telling me not to.
"MARS BLAZING FIRE!" I yelled. Aiming for Jax. It was a direct hit and he fell to the floor.
Everyone ran over to see if Crew was alright and I heard Kiera screaming that he wasn't breathing. Jax what did you do. What is going on. I can't believe that I had to hurt him like that. There is something wrong, because Jax would never do something like that.
"Kayd? Everyone? What's going on? How did I get here?" Jax said, hardly affected by my attack.
"Jax, what do you mean? You almost killed Crew." Artemis shouted at him.
"Wait what?" He asked with panic in his voice. I ran to him and hugged him in my arms. He pushed me off and ran over to where Crew was. Which was a bunch of rock and rubble from the collapsed wall and all the scouts trying to get Crew to respond.
"Everyone move!" Jax yelled and everyone stepped back partially afraid of what he would do. Except for Kiera.
"What do you think your going to do to him?" She said defensively.
"I want to heal him. I have to heal him before he dies." He said trying to hold back his tears. She hesitantly moved and Jax dropped to his knees and said.
"Moon Healing." His hands started to glow and so did Crew. His wounds just started vanishing and his breathing and skin color returned as he opened his eyes.
"I'm so sorry Crew. I-I don't know what happened. I don't remember anything up until last night." Jax said choking back sobs.
"It's the new enemy we were talking about. We found a small mass near the moon that is radiating negative energy. After closer examination we determined that it is the Doom Tree." Luna said returning back to her posh tone.
"Well they just declared war." I said. No one hurts my Jax or any of my friends for that matter.
"What exactly is the Doom Tree?" Kylynn asked inquisitively.
"Long ago, before the silver millennium existed. There was another system of only three small planets. This System neighbored ours for centuries and at that time only Venus, Earth, and Mars had life. One day a meteor struck the main planet which contained a tree that gave life to all three celestial bodies. The survivors became greedy and wicked and the tree was influenced and became the exact same. The tree murdered the rest of civilization in that system and drifted off into space." Luna explained uneasily.
"So if it wiped out civilization then who visited me last night?" Jax added, still sobbing.
"Two survivors were kept as slaves to the tree to steal energy from any life it finds. These survivors names are Ail and Ann. They have had no contact with anyone other than themselves so they are completely unpredictable."
"How did they not come right to us in the first place? Why go off when they had us right next to them?" Kylynn added.
"Well at that time the only life on the planets were bacterial. Basically the beginning of everything was happening at that moment except for one tiny colony on Venus. Who recorded these events and named them the Doom Dwellers and the Doom Tree. It was legend until recently when they finally found our System." Artemis answered.
"Okay, but how does any of this explain Jax getting brainwashed?" I asked. None of this is making any sense.
"Well that we don't know, Jax you need to be more careful don't face either of them alone. They will use your loving heart against you." Luna stated looking at Jaxon with a concerned motherly look.
"I won't kill them. I won't kill anyone. I already killed Beryl, I won't kill again. I will do anything to banish the evil in their hearts." Jax said standing up and wiping away his tears.
"We are the Sailor Scouts, and together we can do anything." He added confidently. And that is why he is our leader. He has hope even when no else does, and in turn suddenly everyone starts to gain hope.
"I'm with you Jax." I said walking up to him and bringing him into my arms. Everyone started agreeing and laughing and we could all feel the love, almost like Jax was literally injecting us with it.
