My eyes stay glued to the screen of my phone. I don’t want to open the message but I really want to. I’m having a miniature war with myself inside deciding whether or not I should open the message.
“He texted you again didn’t he?” Ashley asks. I look up at her shocked that she knew. It was probably because I was staring at my phone for five minutes straight. I look down to my feet and nod me head. She sighs and snatches the phone from my hand. I look up at her and see her reading the message.
“Is he serious? Guys now a days so pathetic” She says obviously pissed from the message. I wonder what he said?
“ Let me see” I tell her while reaching over taking the phone from her hand.

My heart is literally in my throat right now. I can’t stay in this house anymore. I need to step out. I casually get off the sofa and walk over to the door and put my black low tops on. I look over at Ashley and she’s staring at me like I’ve lost my mind.
“I need ice cream put your shit on” I tell her as I run to the kitchen and grab ten dollars. I walk back to the door and see that Ashley’s ready to go. I look upstairs and yell out to Jake.
“ Jake going to the ice cream shop be back soon!” As I get closer I hear him shout out okay. We walk out of the house and I close the door. Luckily the Ice cream shop is only a ten minute walk. Me and Ashley don’t even talk on the walk there. She knows I need some time to absorb the chaotic day I’ve been having. Once we get into the ice cream shop I begin to shiver. Heads up to anyone, don’t go into an ice cream shop with a tank top, you’ll freeze your ass off. We make our orders and sit down on the comfortable seats they have. Enjoying the ice cream I forget about everything that’s happened today.
“Um, Sara I really think we should leave. Like now.” Ashley says like she’s seen a ghost. I look around and almost drop my ice cream when I see the side of his head.
“Oh shit” I say to Ashley. “ I don’t want to throw out my ice cream it’s good” I whine to her. She already done with hers so she has to real problem here but, I have a full cone of ice cream.
“Well, we can always walk out of here like human beings” She says making sure I get the sarcastic tone in her voice.
“Welllll, I don’t want to walk out of here. I have other plans” I answer her back. I will leave this place making sure Liam knows that he has no effect on me. I literally scarf down the whole ice cream cone down my throat making a huge mess around me. I look ridiculous with a sticky ice cream moustache. I make stupid faces at Ashley, who is laughing her ass off. I wipe of the ice cream with my arm and stand up. Suddenly, I get a great idea, since everyone already thinks I probably just escaped the mental asylum might as well act weirder.
I take my phone out and look through my music. I find a screamo song that I had on my phone because I’m just that weird. I play it blasting it as loud as I can. Now I’m pretty sure that everyone is staring at me. Then I started dancing. Not just normal dancing, but weird dance that look like birds having a hard time flying, or a leprechaun who just lost their pot of gold. People are staring at me with their eyes popping out of their eye sockets, others are clapping and laughing. When the song finishes I’m out of breath.
“You guys just got the exclusive new ice cream and show deal for free!” I announce. I’m smiling like an idiot. I glance over to the area where Liam is and see him smirking. Then he starts to clap and everyone starts clapping after him. I bow for them and run out of the place like a lunatic. When I’m outside I start cartwheeling and doing bad flips. I look back and all the little kids are outside watching me and giggling. Ashley walks out and just stares at me.
“He has really driven you insane” She says as she drags me to the path towards my house.
