Party?

(One week later)

It's been a week since my outburst in the ice cream shop. Whenever I'm walking around people look at me with the weirdest looks ever. I think they remember my "show". Everything has been good at school. No one has bothered me and surprisingly Liam didn't tell any one what happened in the ice cream shop. Speaking of Liam I'm pretty sure he learned what personal space is and how to figure out when someone doesn't like you. In all my classes I have with him he hardly makes any conversation with me, or anyone at that matter. I think it has to do with the fact Tiffany, the queen of sluts, broke up with him. He makes no effort at talking to anyone anymore. Why is he so upset that she broke up with him? He can easily have anyone he wants and so can she. What was so different with her? Well, I'm pretty glad she broke up with him, even though that sounds horrible, now he doesn't speak to me and that makes my life so much easier. The last bell rings and I hurry to my locker. Today's Thursday so I'm pretty much excited that the weekend is coming. Two days alone in my room reading, surfing the web, and eating. One of the best ways to wind down from the week.

I make my way out of the school and to my car. I walk closer and see that someone is in my car. How the hell did this person get in there. I speed walk to the passenger seat of my car and see a familiar head of hair. I go to the passenger door and yank the door open.

"What the hell?! I thought you were some rapist waiting for me!" I yell at Ashley. She probably found my spare keys and opened the door herself.

" You thought I was a rapist and yet you still come to the car? You're so smart." She replies. She has a point. I can be pretty stupid at times. I walk over to the driver's side and get in. I pull out of the parking lot and Ashley starts talking.

"Sooo, there's a party this weekend" she starts. Oh god here she goes.

"And...." I reply not really wanting to encourage her in this conversation.

"And I really think that we should go because I was invited and you're my best friend so I have to bring you along"

" No. Absolutely not. I'm fine staying at home, my bed is pretty comfortable"

" Oh come on Sara you have to come! This is our senior year then we go to college! These parties prepare us for college parties, which are pretty hard core. I need to get you ready for these things and this is the third party you ditched me so you owe me!" She begs. I really don't really see the why it's so important. Though she has a point I do owe her for a lot of things. I really don't see a way out of this conversation unless i agree to it.

"Ugh, I'll think about it ok. Just don't bug my about it"

" OH MY GOD YESS!!" She is bouncing up and down in her seat. I really don't want to go, people tend to be really annoying and some ass always ends up spiking the drinks. I turn the music up and focus on the road. Ashley's on her phone texting away and by the time I pull up into the driveway she's done with whatever she was doing. I turn off the engine and step out waiting for Ashley to get out. I look around the lawn and see someone's car in front of the house. I've never seen that car around here before so I have the slightest idea to who it belongs to.

I forget about the car. My parents will handle that situation. I walk up my porch and get my keys out of my bags. While I'm fumbling around with the keys Ashley comes up behind me.

"Which dick decided to park in front of your house?" Ashley says. I'm pretty confused. Does she know who's car it is?

"I don't know who's car it is. Do you know?" I respond.

" No I don't know who's car it is but all I know is it belongs to one of the guys at school, I've seen it around"

Okay, now that I know it's one of the guys from school, what're they doing in my house and who is he. I open the door and notice that my brother isn't in his usual seat on the couch. That throws me off a little.

"Hey, I'm going to charge my phone in your room" Ashley tells me while disrupting me from my thoughts.

I nod a response to her and by the time she's upstairs I'm heading towards the kitchen. There are people in there and they're talking and there's never people there. I walk into the kitchen and see my brothers head. He's slightly hunched over looking at his textbooks. I walk over to the other side and I drop my keys and bag. What is he doing here?!
