Alessia's POV
Gracie and Krysle left. Connor and I made drafts for the competition. It's gonna be in three days. I've finished packing my things up, so nothing to worry about. Too bad Sabitri can't join because she's going back to Bhutan.

We went to form and then went to our last class, Maths. Boring maths.Connor's POV
Ohh, finally! Maths is over. It was a very boring session. And the day is finally over. I said goodbye to Alessia.
"Goodbye Ali." I said. Alessia's too long, so I made it shorter, Ali.
"Goodbye Connor." She replied and smiled. She hugged me. It wasn't new to me. It felt quite nice, like always.
"Call me." I don't know why I said that. It just came out of my gob.
"Uhh, sure." She replied, waved goodbye and went out.Alessia's POV
"Goodbye Ali." He said to me.
Ali? That sounded familiar. Oh yeah! Woodie! He used to call me that. But it's impossible that Connor is Woodie. Maybe my name is just too long. Hmmmm.
"Call me." He said.
I was speechless. This is awkward. I'm blushing again. Ugh, I hate it.
"Uhh, sure." I said. I didn't know what to do, but nothing's gonna change if I call him right?
I went to the bus stop and said goodbye to Gracie and Krysle. I was catching the bus.

I got home. Mum told me to have a snack. I took some chips and went straight to my room. I started doing some drafts for the competition. I checked my phone. No one left a message. I was waiting for Connor's call.3:45 PM
I was tired of making drafts I stopped. I checked my phone, Connor still hasn't called.4:00 PM
I was reading a book for a while. I checked my phone, yet he still hasn't called. What's wrong with me? Why am I waiting for his call?5:30 PM
Still hasn't6:05 PM
My phone was vibrating. I checked it. It was Connor.
CONNOR CALLING......
I was freaking out. What am I supposed to do?! AHHHHHHHH! I answered the call.
"Hi?" I said.
"Hey, Alessia." He said.
"Hi." I replied.
"What you doing?" He asked.
"Oh, I'm making some drafts." I said.
"Okay."
"So...?" I asked.
"So?" He giggled.
"So?" I laughed.
"Do you wanna go to the park?" He said.
"What?! Oh, sorry I didn't mean to shout." I said. I was surprised.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you lol." He said.
"No, it's okay. Lol." I replied.
"So are you in?" He asked.
"Who's gonna be there?" I asked.
"You and me. Why? Anything wrong with that?" He said.
"Uhh, nothing at all. I'll just ask mum and dad." I said.
"Ok cool. Beanie Park. Text me your address so I can pick you up."
"Ugh, okay."He hung up.
I went downstairs and asked mum and dad for permission.
"Mum, dad. Can I go to the park with my friend today?" I asked, I begged them and using my puppy eyes.
"Who?" Dad asked.
"Uhhm, Connor." I said.
"What? A boy?" He said. Dad is very funny, he's just very protective.
"Yeah, he's my partner for editorial cartooning. We're just gonna talk about what we're gonna do on the competition." I explained.
"Is he courting you? Yes! My daughter is not a lesbian! You're finally having a boyfriend! Go for it dear!" Dad said.
"Omg dad. He's not my boyfriend. He's my friend." I explained.
"Well, that's where it's gonna go." Mum and dad laughed.
"Go for it dear." Mum said.
"Okay, thanks." I said.I went to my room and opened my closet. What should I wear? I tried on lots of dresses. I decided to wear a plain greys sweatshirt, ripped jeans and my favourite pair of converse. Do I look good? I asked my self. I tied my long black hair into a pony tail. I texted Connor my address. I spent like 10 minutes on the mirror asking myself, do I look good or is it too ugly.
Just then, I heard a knock on the door. It must be Connor. I heard dad open the door. I went downstairs and saw Connor in a black shirt and in a pair of jeans. He looked hot. Wait. Did I just say that?! Erase erase.
"Oh, you must be Connor." Dad said.
"Yes, Mr. Grier." Connor smiled to mum and dad.
"Take care pf my daughter okay?" Dad joked.
"I will. Don't worry Mr and Mrs Grier, your daughter is in good hands." He said. He made me feel like a princess.
I walked towards him. I said goodbye to mum and dad.
He opened the door on his car for me. He's too sweet. He had a BMW. It was very nice. This is where the silence starts. Geez.
