Connor's POV
She just hugged me. I must admit, it felt quite nice. She rested her head on my shoulder which was new to me. No one's ever done that to me. It felt romantic. Nah, I'm still angry at her for beating me up. And hey, I have to work with her for editorial cartooning. My face looks like a fucking tomato. My first day here in Pemberton is a disaster!Gracie's POV

That felt really good. Until I heard Krisle's scream! We looked to her Krisle and Gracie were running up to us. Mika obviously have works to do.
"OMG CONGRATULATIONS!" Krysle greeted.
"Hey if you break my friend's heart, I'll break your face!" Gracie warned."WHAT are you guys talking about? HE's Not my boyfriend. He's my partner for the competition. This is Connor."
"Hi." He said.
"Oh sorry bout that." Gracie said.
"So, do you want us to give you a tour in Pemberton while eating recess?" I suggested.
"Sure." He agreed.
We took hum to the tree first where we usually hang around. We went to the lower school area then the upper school. We went to the gym and showed him the huge pool and the courts. We went to the science lab, cooking room. ALL AROUND THE PLACE.
"Oh, I forgot. We were supposed to plan for the competition.
We're dead." I said."Don't worry Alessia, we'll do it at lunch." Connor said.
"Yeah." I replied.
The bell rang and we went to English, which is better than Math.

It was the end of school, I went out of the classroom, but then Connor pulled me towards him. I gasped.
"Can I have your number?" He asked.
"Ahhh, ehhh, uhm. Okay...." I gave him my number and he gave me his'."Okay, I'll text you when I get home see you!" He added.
"Goodbye Connor!" I said.

I got home. I still couldn't believe that happened. I practiced doing some drawings for the competition.
We had five days left before we fly to Sydney. I got way too excited , so I packed my things up. While messing with my closet, I saw this random box. I didn't know what it was. I wonder what it could be?
