ASHLEY'S POV
Corey and I were currently being interviewed by a lady who asked me how Corey and I became a married couple, so I've been telling her the whole story (*which was the past chapter*).
"And that's how Corey and I became a married couple in 2013. We've been best friends for nineteen years going on twenty, that's like a marriage, longer than our marriage honestly but that's the best." I said looking at Corey smiling.
"Sounds like you two were kind of like a married couple but not an official married couple." the lady said.
"Yeah, I guess you can say that. We've even had two new additions to the family. Ethan Mason and Ava Grace, I gave birth to them last year. Now, we have the family we've both wanted and then some. Griffin is turning fourteen, Willow is turning ten, Ella is turning three and the twins (Ethan and Ava) are turning two. My parents had five kids, one boy and four girls, we're all married except Freya. She put my parents before anyone else, she's in college. I graduated with my nursing degree. My parents call us a "Picture Perfect" match that no one knew would happen BUT had that feeling it may someday." I said as Corey held my hand.
"That song Zzyzx Rd is a love song you'd written to Scarlett but now Scarlett states it was originally for Ashley here." the said confusingly.
"Zzyzx Rd is a love song, yes. I wrote it when I was with Scarlett but she said in like a Shakespeare formal talk, "dare not write it about me but dare write it about Ashley", at first I was very confused until we divorced. As it released on What(ever) May Come and the years that followed up till 2013, I saw it happening before my eyes. Ashley was my soulmate not Scarlett but Scarlett fucking made the wedding happen. They stayed best friends through it all, fuck they're still best friends. Girl nights, pedicure/manicure days, taking the kids out themselves. Shit, it's like we're all married together. BUT, her parents told me "... that's real parenting, when all of you are best friends and there isn't any jealousy present". Corey said smiling.
"It sounds like an eventful nineteen years from beginning to end. Next we're going to go through the social media comments about everything." she said as we took a quick break.

COREY'S POV
"And we're back with Corey and Ashley Taylor. Hopefully, you guys had a good break." she smiled.
"Good, loved the coffee." I said smiling.
"He loves his coffee." Ashley spoke laughing.
"Its way better than alcohol though." I said making a point.
"Very true and I still love you no matter what." she said kissing my cheek.
"Aren't they cute?!" the lady said excitedly as our audience all yelled "yeahs".
