Amber and Sofia were already in the clinic. Hugo was hiding.

"Princess Amber, you should stay outside and waut for your sister. It might take a while." Hugo heard the doctor.

Suddenly Amber came out so worried. Then Hugo came to her.

"Amber, what happened to Sofia?" Hugo asked.

"Well us girls were asking who will be our dates for the Royal Ball. Then we asked Sofia, but she was stuttering. Then Maya asked Laila who her date will be and she said it will be you! Then all of the sudden Sofia choked." Amber told Hugo. Hugo was a little shocked.

"And Hugo, you need to let Sofia be your date for the Royal Ball because she likes youuuuuur... Uhh.." Amber didn't know what to say because she was about to say to Hugo that Sofia liked him more than that.

"Sofia likes me?" Hugo was surprised.

"Yes! I mean no! I mean.. As a friend yes." Amber nervously chuckled.

"Well, I'll be her date for the Royal Ball." Hugo said.

"Really?" Amber asked.

"Ever since Miss Flora announced the ball, that was the time I thought Sofia would be my date." Hugo said.

"Good! Very very good!" Amber said in excitement.

Then Sofia came out from the clinic. Hugo and Amber went up to her.

"Sofia! You alright?" Amber asked Sofia.

"I'm fine, Amber. Just fine." Sofia smiled at her sister.

"Hey, Sof." Hugo smiled at Sofia.

"Hey, Hugo. What brings you here?" Sofia asked Hugo.

"He asked you to be his date for the Royal Ball!" Amber said.

"Y-yeah.." Hugo said scratching his neck.

"I'd be happy to, Hugo." Sofia said with a smile.

"Great! I'll see you later, Sof." Hugo winked at her. Sofia watched as Hugo left.

"Amber, why were you not surprised when Laila said she wanted Hugo to be her date!" Sofia asked her sister.

"She talked to me at class. That's the time I got surprised." Amber replied. Sofia was a little shocked.

"What did you say?" Sofia asked.

"I said that I'm sure Hugo will pick you." Amber said. "Then she glared at me which was really weird." Sofia started to realize something.

"If Laila wanted to pick Hugo and she glared at you when you said Hugo will pick me, that's a clue that Laila likes Hugo." Sofia said. Amber was shocked at this.

"Yes I think your right. You gotta watch your back, Sofia. Also Hugo need to watch his back." Amber said.

The sisters went back to lunch and after they were done, they went to Art Class.

"Okay, class." Flora said. "You all will be working in pairs. We will decide who your pairs will be."

Hugo was hoping he will get Sofia.

"James and Zandar, Amber and Hildegard, Clio and Maya, Vivian and Jun, and Sofia and Hugo." Fauna said.

Hugo was happy Sofia get to be his partner.

"You are going to sketch the best time you did together." Merryweather said.

Sofia thought it was going to be fun but she can't choose what was the best time with her and Hugo because they have done a lot of things together.

They sat together and they started talking. They thought they would draw the time they had the ice dancing recital.

After class, they all went home.

Meanwhile at Albuquerque, Hugo was in his room. Then Axel, his brother, came in.

"Baby bro, I heard there was going to be a Royal Ball this Friday." Axel said to Hugo.

"How did you know?" Hugo asked.

"Amber told me. And I heard you will be dancing with Sofia." Axel replied with a smirk.

"Yeah, so?" Hugo said rolling his eyes at Axel.

"AND I heard Sofia choked at lunch time when the new princess said that she wanted to be your date." Axel said. "Do you want to know why?"

"Why?" Hugo asked. He really wanted to know why Sofia choked.

"There might be a clue that Laila likes you. Axel smirked.

Hugo frowned. "We are talking about Sofia. Not the new princess."

"Oh, right. Well Sofia choked MAYBE because..." Axel was cut off by Hugo because Hugo knows what Axel meant already.

"Alright! I get it!" Hugo rolled his eyes.

"And I heard about your crush on Sofia." Axel smirked.

"What! H-how did you know?" Hugo was shocked.

"Its obvious, baby bro." Axel smiled.

"Well, I gotta get some sleep. Good night, big bro." Hugo said as Axel went to his room.

"I hope tomorrow will be a great day.." Hugo sighed.

Meanwhile at Enchancia, Sofia was at her window seat. She was with Clover and her other animal friends. The animals could tell that Sofia was sad.

"Hey, Sof. What's wrong?" Clover asked Sofia.

"Its nothing, Clover." Sofia sighed.

Suddenly Amber came in to Sofia's room.

"Sofia, are you alright?" Amber asked her little sister.

"I am fine, Amber. What brings you here?" Sofia asked.

"Have you noticed something about Princess Laila?" Amber asked.

"Only one. I noticed she likes Hugo.." Sofia said sadly. Amber felt bad for her..

"Well, Sofia, Hugo is going to be your date at the Royal Ball and no one is stopping you." Amber smiled at her which made Sofia better.

"Thanks, Amber." Sofia said.

"You gotta get some rest, Sofia. Good night!" Amber said as she left Sofia's room.

Sofia went to her bed, but she can't get ant sleep.
