Forgotten Friend : A Princess Sofia and Prince Hugo Fanfic

The Royal Ball

The night had finally come. It was time for the Royal Ball.

Meanwhile in Enchancia, Sofia and Amber were choosing their gown for the ball.

Sofia then saw a golden half sleeved high-low beaded chiffon gown. She thought it would be perfect for Amber to wear.

"Amber, why don't you wear this one? It looks perfect on you." Sofia said as she showed Amber the gown.

"Wow this dress is perfect for me! Thanks, Sofia!" Exclaimed Amber. "Now let us choose yours."

They both were choosing on what Sofia will wear until Amber found the perfect one for Sofia.

"Sofia, this gown is the perfect one for you! Hugo will love it!" Amber exclaimed. It was a light blue short cap sleeve illusion gown.

"Oh, this one is beautiful!" Sofia said. "Thanks, Amber!"

"Oh, and you should wear white long gloves! It would be perfect on you!" Amber said.

"Sure, Amber." Sofia said.

"And don't forget, glass slippers!" Amber said as she handed Sofia a pair of glass slippers.

Sofia and Amber were thankful for helping each other.

"Oh, I can't wait to damce with Hugo!" Sofia exclaimed.

It was already time for the Ball so Sofia, Amber, and James went to the flying coach and arrived at Royal Prep.

Hugo was with Zandar and Desmond.

"Oh, where is Sofia?" Hugo asked.

"Don't worry, Hugo. She will come here any minute." Desmond said.

Before they knew it, Sofia was in the entrance and everybody gasped in amazement, especially Hugo.

"Wow, she's beautiful." Hugo said.

"She sure is." Zandar smirked at Hugo.

Hugo went up to Sofia.

"Sofia, you look beautiful." Hugo said.

Sofia giggled. "Thanks, Hugo. You look handsome."

Hugo blushed.

When everybody was already in the ball, the orchestra played a beautiful waltz.

"May I have this dance, princess?" Hugo said as he lend Sofia his hand.

"I'd be honored." Sofia said curtseying.

They both waltzed happily in the ballroom.

Sofia's friends saw how cute Sofia and Hugo danced.

Laila got jealous, she decided to do something bad.

Without anyone noticing, Laila got a glass of water and spilled it to the direction of Sofia. What Laila didn't see is that she had been caught by Hildegard and Zandar.

All of the sudden, Sofia slid. Everyone but Laila gasped.

Amber and James saw that their little sister slid so they helped her get up.

"You alright, Sof?" James asked as he was helping Sofia get up.

"Y-yeah.. I'm fine." Sofia said. Now Sofia's dress was a little wet and she wasn't in the mood.

"Excuse me.." Sofia then ran out of the ballroom wiping her tears.

"Sofia, wait!" Hugo said.

"Who in the world did this to my little sister?!" Amber yelled angrily.

"Woah, woah. Calm down, Amber." James said.

Just then Zandar and Hildegard went up to them.

"Amber, lets talk about this outside." Hildegard stated.

"Fine." Amber said. James went with them, also Clio.

"I'll come too." Hugo said.

They all went to the garden and they saw Sofia sitting on the bench.

"Sofia, you okay?" Hugo asked Sofia as he sat beside her.

"No, everything's ruined because of me." Sofia said.

"Sofia, it wasn't your fault." Hildegard said. "It was Laila." Zandar added.

"What?!" Amber was shocked.

"H-how did you guys know it was her?" James asked.

Hildegard and Zandar then explained how Laila got a glass of water and spilled it in the direction of Sofia. All of them were schocked, especially Sofia.

"Why would she do that to Sofia?" Clio asked.

"Because Laila likes Hugo." Amber said.

Everyone but Sofia, Hugo, and Amber were shocked.

"Yeah.. You gotta watch your back, Sofia." Hugo said.

"Yeah, you too." Sofia replied.

"We will leave you two here alone." Amber said as the others went back to the ballroom.

It was then an awkward silence for Sofia amd Hugo.

"H-hugo, sorry for ruining the night." Sofia said looking down. Hugo then took Sofia's hand.

"Sof, it wasn't your fault. It was Laila's." Hugo smiled at Sofia. Sofia then felt better. Hugo then stood up. Sofia did the same.

They danced and they both had fun talking to each other. It was the best night of their lives.

It was already time to go home, but before they did, Hugo said, "Sofia, I had the best time with you. I'll see you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow too, Hugo." Sofia said. They both hugged each other.

They didn't notice that Laila was spying on them. Laila was so jealous, she exactly knew what to do.

By the time Hugo went back to Albuquerque, his big brother, Axel went up to him.

"Baby bro! How was the ball?" Axel asked Hugo.

"It was fun, Big bro." Hugo smiled. "It was the best night."

Meanwhile in Enchancia, Sofia was getting ready for bed. Her animal friends then came in.

"Hey, Sof. How was the ball?" Clover asked Sofia.

"Oh, Clover. It was so fun! I mean it got tough in the start but it went better in the end." Sofia said.

"Well, we are glad you feel better. Better get some rest now." Mia remarked.

"Thanks, guys. Good night!" Sofia said as she turned off the light. She slept peacefully. It was the best night of her life.
